Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to glasses with removable branches. Glasses are known having glasses and a mount with 5 removable branches, each branch having at one end removable fastening means to an element of the frame. This allows a user to replace at will glasses branches by other branches having a different color and / or shape for example. In the present art, the means for securing the branches are not always satisfactory. It has already been found that the branches can disengage from the rest of the frame when the glasses are worn by a user or that they undergo a shock, for example during a fall. The object of the invention is in particular to provide a simple, effective and economical solution to this problem. For this purpose, it proposes glasses, comprising glasses and a mount with removable limbs, each limb having at one end detachable fastening means to a frame element, characterized in that said fastening means cooperate with an element. hinge of the frame, these fixing means comprising a first member cooperating by interlocking with a second member of the hinge element, and in that, when the members are fitted into one another and the branches are unfolded in the position of use, the members are prevented from disengaging from each other by pressing the ends of the limbs onto a part of the frame or glasses, the branches being at least partially folded in the storage position to allow the dislocation of organs. According to the invention, when the glasses are worn by a user, the branches are unfolded and can not disengage from the rest of the frame. The branches are held in this position of use by pressing on a part of the frame or glasses. Any detachment of the branches of the rest of the frame is impossible during the wearing of glasses. The branches are attached to the rest of the frame by interlocking means which are easily manipulated to ensure the attachment and removal of branches. According to a feature of the invention, the attachment means of the branches cooperate directly with hinge elements of the frame. Preferably, the attachment means of each branch comprise a longitudinal rib projecting on an inner face of the branch. The rib of each branch has, for example, a T-shaped section. The hinge element may comprise a receiving groove of the aforementioned first member (such as the rib) and which, when the branch is unfolded, opens out on an external face. of the hinge element as well as on a front face of this element. The hinge element is preferably monobloc and made for example of plastic. The hinge element can be formed in one piece with a pivoted yoke. This yoke may comprise two parallel ears between which is engaged a clevis attack integral with a glass or part of the frame. Advantageously, the hinge element comprises a receiving housing of a magnet and which, when the branch is unfolded, opens on the aforementioned outer face of the hinge element.
This groove can lead to its rear end in the housing of the magnet. In the case where the first member, such as the aforementioned rib, is made of metal, it can cooperate with the magnet when engaged at the bottom of the groove. The force exerted by the magnet may be sufficient to prevent accidental removal of the branch, for example in case of falling glasses.
In the case where this outer face of the hinge element is supported or is flush with an inner face of the branch, when the latter is in the mounted position, the magnet can cooperate with the branch if it is made of metal or comprises a part metal, which guarantees a good fixation of the branch. The invention will be better understood and other details, features and advantages of the invention will become apparent on reading the following description given by way of non-limiting example with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which: FIG. 1 is a view front view of a pair of spectacles according to the invention; FIG. 2 is a side view of the spectacles of FIG. 1; FIG. 3 is a view from above of the spectacles of FIG. 1, one branch being unfolded in the use position and the other branch being folded and being withdrawn; - Figure 4 is another side view of the glasses of Figure 1, a branch having been removed from the rest of the frame; FIGS. 5 to 7 are diagrammatic views from above, from the side and from the front, respectively, of a hinge element of the spectacles of FIG. 1; - Figure 8 is an exploded schematic view in partial section of a pivot of the glasses of Figure 1; - Figures 9 and 10 are views corresponding to Figures 5 and 6 and showing an alternative embodiment of the hinge element; and FIG. 11 is a diagrammatic perspective view of the means for fixing a branch of the spectacles of FIG. 1. Referring first to FIGS. 1 and 2 which represent spectacles 10 according to the invention, which conventionally comprise two glasses 12 and a frame 14, this frame here comprising two articulated branches 16 and straps 18 partially surrounding the glasses. 2 9983 83 4 In the following description, the term "before" qualifies what is located on the side of the glasses of the glasses or oriented towards the glasses, as opposed to the term "back" which qualifies what is located on the side of the free ends branches in the deployed position or spaced from each other, or oriented towards these ends. The term "internal" refers to what is located at or inward of the area bounded by the branches of the spectacles when they are deployed, and the term "external" refers to what is located at or outwards. from this area. The straps 18 are connected to each other by a bridge 20 and carry means 22 of nasal support. Each strapping 18 is further secured to a tab 24 which extends rearwardly from one side of the strapping and which carries a first hinge member 26 for the articulation of a branch 16. Each branch 16 is articulated around an axis and movable in rotation about this axis between an unfolded position or use (position A visible in Figure 3), wherein the branch extends substantially perpendicular to a plane passing through the glasses 12, and a folded position or storage (position B in Figure 3), wherein the leg extends substantially parallel to the aforementioned plane. Each branch 16 comprises at its free end before removable fastening means on a second hinge element 28 which is articulated on the first hinge element 26 mentioned above. In the example shown in FIGS. 5 to 7, the second hinge element 28 comprises a block of material (for example plastic) which is formed in one piece with a pivot yoke 30, this yoke 30 comprising two parallel lugs. between which is intended to be mounted a cleft attack of the first hinge element 26. The ears of the clevis 30 comprise orifices aligned passage of a pivot 32 (Figure 8) which passes through an orifice of the attack of clevis the hinge element 26.
The pivot 32 here comprises a screw 34, two washers 35, and a blind nut 36 which has a tubular cylindrical portion with internal threading and whose smooth outer surface serves as a guiding surface in the orifices of the hinge elements 26, 28 The blind nut 36 also comprises a head with a screwdriver, this head being intended to bear on one of the ears of the yoke 30 by a washer 35. The head of the screw 34 is intended to bear on the Another ear of the yoke 30 by the other washer 35. A first hinge element 26 is here fixed on an inner face 10 of each lug 24 mentioned above. Each element 26 may be made of metal and formed in one piece with the tab 24 and the corresponding strapping 18. Each second element 28 comprises a plane face 38 which, when the corresponding branch 16 is in the unfolded or operating position (A), is oriented towards the outside and is intended to bear on or to be flush with an internal face of this branch. The second element 28 comprises a rectilinear groove 40 which opens on the face 38 and of which an axial end also opens out on a front face of the element 28. As can be seen in FIG. 7, this groove 40 has a cross-sectional shape. T. The second element 28 further comprises a housing 42 for receiving a magnet, this housing opening on the face 38 between the groove 40 and the rear end of the element 28. In the mounted position, the magnet comprises a face aligned with the face 38 of the element 28, so that the magnet can cooperate with the branch when made of metal material. The attachment means carried by each branch 16 comprise a longitudinal rib 44 which is formed projecting on the inner face of the branch and whose length or axial dimension is substantially equal to that of the groove 40. As can be seen in FIG. 11, this rib has a shape (T-section) substantially complementary to that of the groove 40. The front end of the rib 44 is located substantially to the right of the front end of the branch 16. The rib 44 comprises a first wall substantially perpendicular to the inner face of the branch 16 and extending between this face and a second wall substantially parallel to this inner face. As shown schematically in dashed lines in FIG. 11, the first wall may comprise on its lateral faces bosses 46 intended to cooperate with slots 48 of complementary shape to the hinge element 28 to ensure good attachment of the branch.
In the example shown in Figure 6, the slots of the element 28 are located on a peripheral rim of the groove 40 located at the outer face 38 of the element. When the rib 44 of a branch 16 is engaged in the groove 40 of the corresponding hinge element 28, the bosses 46 engage in the slots 48, which generates a slight noise which informs the user of the correct position and the good fixing of the branch 16. To mount a branch 16, the second hinge element 28 must be at least partially in the folded position so that the axial opening of the groove 40 is oriented outwards . The rib 44 of the corresponding branch 16 is mounted in the groove 40 of the hinge element 28 by engaging the rear end of the rib in the axial opening (front end) of the groove and then moving the rib in the throat by axial sliding, until the rear end of the rib comes into axial abutment on the rear end of the groove. The branch 16 can then be unfolded to its use position (A) in which its front end is able to abut against the rear end of the tab 24, as shown in C in FIG. Branch 16 can not then disengage from the rest of the mount as long as it is held in its deployed position. In this position, the outer face of the branch is aligned with the outer face of the tab 24.
In this case, the rib of the branch, which has a length substantially equal to that of the groove is intended to be engaged in the groove, until its rear end bears on the magnet and can cooperate with this magnet when the rib is made of metal.
