Abstract

The installation has a seat (15) placed on a zone i.e. step (11) intended for the public to attend an event, and a treated air source (20) arranged under the zone. A valve (21) is associated with the seat, where an actuation system including a lever (24) and a control rod (25) selectively opens the valve for supplying treated air from the treated air source to a spectator occupying the seat, depending on a condition relating to the seat. The seat includes a base (17) movable between a closed position and an open position intended to support the spectator during the event. The treated air is fresh air or heated air and/or dehumidified air and/or clean air. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for air-conditioning the steps in a spectator installation (2) a stadium.
