Abstract

The assembly (1) has a luggage cover including a curtain (4) comprising a front edge (5) and a back edge (6), so that the curtain is movable between a retracted arrangement configuration and a deployed covering configuration of luggage. Housings (13) are provided on cabinet works to receive fingers in a locking position. The cover includes a retraction device for retracting the fingers. The device includes an actuation button (15) mounted on a rigidification flap (9) and a transmission system connecting the button to the fingers, so as to allow retraction of fingers by actuation of the button.

Description

The invention relates to a covering assembly of a luggage compartment of a motor vehicle and a luggage cover of such an assembly. It is known, in particular from document FR-2,875,758, to make a covering assembly of a luggage compartment of a motor vehicle, said assembly comprising a luggage cover and two lateral cabinetry of said compartment, said luggage cover comprising: - a curtain comprising a front edge and a rear edge, - a return device of said curtain associated with said front edge, so that said curtain is movable between a retracted storage configuration and an extended luggage cover configuration, - a stiffening flap associated with the along said rear edge, said assembly further comprising a reversible locking system of said flap on said cabinetry when said curtain is in deployed configuration, said system comprising: - two lateral fingers mounted on either side of said transverse sliding flap, said fingers being spring loaded so that they can be actuated by then a retracted unlocking position to an extended locking position, - two respective housings provided on said cabinetry so as to receive said fingers in the locking position. It is further provided that the housing is arranged to allow extraction of the fingers of said housing by pressing down on the back of the flap. Such pressure can be exerted indifferently on an area or another disposed behind the flap.

With such an arrangement, there is the risk of an unwanted unlocking of the fingers when a fortuitous pressure is exerted on one of these areas.

The invention aims to overcome this disadvantage. For this purpose, and according to a first aspect, the invention proposes a covering assembly of a luggage compartment of a motor vehicle, said assembly comprising a luggage cover and two side cabinetry of said compartment, said luggage cover comprising: - a curtain comprising a front edge and a rear edge, - a return device of said curtain associated with said front edge, so that said curtain is movable between a retracted storage configuration and an extended luggage cover configuration, - an associated stiffening flap along said rear edge, said assembly further comprising a reversible locking system of said flap on said cabinetry when said curtain is in deployed configuration, said system comprising: - two lateral fingers mounted on either side said flap transversely sliding, said fingers being spring loaded so that they can be actuated is a retracted unlocking position to an extended locking position, - two respective housings provided on said cabinetry so as to receive said fingers in the locked position, said luggage cover further comprising a retraction device of said fingers, said device comprising a button actuator mounted on said flap and at least one transmission member connecting said button to said fingers so as to allow their retraction by actuating said button.

In this description, the positioning terms in the space (bottom, side, front, rear, transverse, ...) are taken with reference to the assembly disposed in the vehicle.

With the proposed arrangement, the user must actuate an actuation button positioned on a very specific area of the flap to unlock the fingers, which limits the risk of an unwanted unlocking that would be obtained by unintentional support on a any area of the back of the bib. According to a second aspect, the invention proposes a luggage cover of such an assembly. Other features and advantages of the invention will appear in the description which follows, made with reference to the attached figures in which: - Figure 1 is a schematic perspective view of an assembly according to one embodiment, - Figure 2 is a Partial perspective detail view of a retraction device according to one embodiment, said device being inactive, - Figures 3 are a partial schematic representation, in a transverse vertical section, of the device of Figure 2, said device being inactive (a ) and activated (b). Referring to the figures, there is described a set 1 covering a luggage compartment of a motor vehicle, said set comprising a luggage cover 2 and two cabinetry 3 side of said compartment, said luggage cover comprising: - a curtain 4 comprising a front edge 5 and a rear edge 6, - a return device 7 of said curtain associated with said front edge, so that said curtain is movable between a retracted configuration - where it is notably wound around an axis 8 - storage and a deployed configuration baggage cover, - a stiffening flap 9 associated along said rear edge, said assembly further comprising a reversible locking system 10 of said flap on said cabinetry when said curtain is in deployed configuration, said system comprising: - two fingers 11 side mounted on either side said flap in transverse sliding, said fingers being mounted on spring 12 so as to be operable from a retracted unlocking position to an extended locking position, - two respective housings 13 provided on said cabinetry so as to receive said fingers in the locking position, said luggage cover further comprising a locking device; retraction 14 of said fingers, said device comprising an actuating button 15 mounted on said flap and at least one transmission member 16 connecting said button to said fingers so as to allow their retraction by actuation of said button.

According to the embodiment shown, the actuating button 15 is operable by pressure, said button being a push button. The button is pressed down here.

Unlocking the fingers 11 is thus made very ergonomically, in particular by a finger or a bend of a user. The button 15 is here arranged in the middle of the flap 9.

According to the embodiment shown, the retraction device 14 further comprises: - a toothed wheel 17, - two transmission members 16 - here in the form of cables - connecting the fingers 11 to two diametrically opposed respective points 18 of said wheel, - a rack 19 operable in translation by the actuating button 15, said rack meshing on said wheel so as to drive it in rotation when pressing said button, said rotation causing a retraction of said fingers.

In variant not shown, the transmission members 16 are in the form of rods.

According to the embodiment shown, the actuating button 15 is integrated with a curtain pull handle 20 in the deployed configuration. We now describe a luggage cover 2 of such a device, said luggage cover comprising: - a curtain 4 comprising a front edge 5 and a rear edge 6, - a return device 7 of said curtain associated with said front edge, so that said curtain is movable between a retracted storage configuration and an expanded baggage overlap configuration, - an associated stiffening flange 8 along said rear edge, - two lateral fingers 11 mounted on either side of said transverse sliding flap, said fingers being spring-loaded 12 so as to be actuable from a retracted unlocking position to an extended locking position, said luggage cover further comprising a retraction device 14 of said fingers, said device comprising an actuating button mounted on said flap and at least one transmission member 16 connecting said button to said fingers so as to allow their retraction by actuation of said button.

REVENDICATIONS1. Assembly (1) covering a motor vehicle luggage compartment, said assembly comprising a luggage cover (2) and two cabinetry (3) side of said compartment, said luggage cover comprising: - a curtain (4) comprising a front edge (5) and a rear edge (6), - a return device (7) of said curtain associated with said front edge, so that said curtain is movable between a retracted storage configuration and an expanded baggage recovery configuration, - a bib (9) associated stiffening along said rear edge, said assembly further comprising a reversible locking system (10) of said flap on said cabinetry when said curtain is in deployed configuration, said system comprising: - two fingers (11) side mounted on both sides said transverse sliding flap, said fingers being spring-mounted (12) so as to be actuable from a position r clamped to unlock an extended locking position, - two housings (13) respectively provided on said cabinetry so as to receive said fingers in the locking position, said assembly being characterized in that said luggage cover further comprises a retraction device ( 14) of said fingers, said device comprising an actuating button (15) mounted on said flap and at least one transmission member (16) connecting said button to said fingers so as to allow their retraction by actuation of said button. 2. The assembly of claim 1, characterized in that the actuating button (15) is operable by pressure. 3. An assembly according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the retraction device (14) further comprises: - a toothed wheel (17), - two transmission members (16) connecting the fingers (11) at two points (18) diametrically opposed respective of said wheel, - a rack (19) operable in translation by the actuating button (15), said rack meshing on said wheel so as to drive it in rotation when said press is pressed button, said rotation causing a retraction of said fingers. 4. An assembly according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the actuating button (15) is integrated with a handle (20) for pulling the curtain (4) in the deployed configuration. 5. The luggage cover of a device according to any one of claims 1 to 4, said luggage cover comprising: - a curtain (4) comprising a front edge (5) and a rear edge (6), - a reminder device (7) said curtain associated with said front edge, so that said curtain is movable between a retracted storage configuration and an expanded luggage cover configuration, - an associated stiffening flange (9) along said rear edge, - two fingers (11) side mounted on both sides said transverse sliding flap, said fingers being spring-mounted (12) so as to be actuable from a retracted unlocking position to an extended locking position, said luggage cover being characterized in that it further comprises a device for retraction (14) of said fingers, said device comprising an actuating button (15) mounted on said flap and at least one transmitting member ssion (16) connecting said button to said fingers so as to allow their retraction by actuation of said button.
