The present invention relates generally to a method for determining the maximum deformation of a vehicle passenger compartment during an impact. In particular, the method according to the present invention relates to the determination of the maximum deformation of a specific part of a passenger compartment, also called maximum intrusion during an impact. In the field of automotive safety, an occupant protection solution is to limit intrusions into the passenger compartment of the vehicle. Indeed, the cockpit must not be deformed unduly during a shock, for various reasons. In particular, parts of the passenger compartment that deform and encroach on the space reserved for the occupants will have a negative influence on the efforts created by the impact on the occupant by modifying the accelerations or the positions of the occupants during this shock. In order to be able to compare and measure the effectiveness of the occupant protection, standardized shock conditions have been defined, and are tested on the vehicle to be studied, with standardized dummies. Under these conditions, and to limit development costs, simulation tools are used, including digital to determine the minimum resistance of the passenger compartment, the technical characteristics of the vehicle components, or their relative arrangement. Thus, for each new vehicle project, the first step is to model the vehicle on the one hand, but also its behavior during a standardized shock: the position of the occupants, their interaction with the seat belts, with the airbags, are calculated to deduce the occupant loads during the shock to determine acceptable intrusions, in order to develop the specifications to be respected for the actual construction of the vehicle. This first modeling step is extremely complex and long but these cabin deformation specifications are necessary to define, for example, the materials to be used, their thicknesses, their technical characteristics or their arrangement for constructing a passenger compartment whose deformations during an impact do not occur. will not cause any adverse health effects to the occupants. This study slowed the development of the vehicle because it is done at the beginning of the project and requires significant computing resources for a long time. An object of the present invention is to meet the drawbacks mentioned above and in particular, first of all, to propose a method for determining the maximum plastic deformations during a predetermined collision of a passenger compartment for a new vehicle, which is fast to implement, without requiring large computing resources. For this purpose, a first aspect of the invention relates to a method for determining a maximum plastic deformation of a specific part of a vehicle cabin to be designed in contact with an occupant of the passenger compartment during a predetermined collision, the method comprising the steps of: - taking into account initial geometric data of the vehicle to be designed; taking into account initial data relating to another known vehicle and relating to an occupant of this other known vehicle during the predetermined shock applied to this other known vehicle; determining, on the basis of the initial geometric data of the vehicle to be designed and initial data relating to the other known vehicle taken into account, a criticality indicator of the predetermined shock on the occupant of the vehicle to be designed in contact with the specific part. the cockpit; comparing the determined criticality indicator with a predetermined criticality target value; determining a maximum plastic deformation of the specific part by iterating the preceding steps of determining the criticality and comparison indicator with the target value of criticality to reach the criticality target value, by modifying at least one of the initial geometric data of the vehicle to design taken into account. The method according to the invention takes into account the data during the impact on another known vehicle on which all the calculations have already been made, so that there is no need to model the predetermined shock on the vehicle to be designed. . The method avoids resorting to complex calculations, and provides results as reliable, and even more reliable if the known vehicle has undergone a real crash test to validate all simulation calculations. Advantageously, the initial data relating to the other known vehicle includes maximum occupant acceleration, occupant movements, and predetermined occupant members during the predetermined shock. The known vehicle data are typically those that affect the impact of the impact on the occupant. Advantageously, the initial geometrical data of the vehicle to be designed include positions of the occupant and predetermined organs of the occupant in the passenger compartment. The data of the vehicle to be designed are those which are in direct relationship with the occupant, because they will have a direct consequence on the latter during the shock. Advantageously, the step of determining the impact criticality index comprises at least one step of calculating forces on at least one predetermined member of the occupant during the shock, created by a displacement of the occupant and / or or an acceleration of the occupant. The criticality of the impact on the occupant is directly estimated from the forces experienced by the occupant during the impact. Advantageously: the specific part of the passenger compartment is a footrest, the predetermined shock is a frontal impact, the initial geometrical data of the vehicle to be designed comprise a position of the point H, the contact points of the heel of the occupying the cockpit and a footrest angle with a horizontal plane, - the initial data for the other known vehicle includes maximum acceleration in horizontal and vertical directions, and maximum gains in the occupant's basin; the determination of the criticality index of the shock comprises steps of calculation of effort and moment on a tibia of the occupant. The method according to the present invention is particularly suitable for the case of a frontal impact and the determination of the maximum intrusion of a footrest or pedalboard, because the data relating to the other known vehicle are reliable and not mainly depend on plastic deformations of metals. Moreover, the point H corresponds to the pivot point of the bust of the occupant relative to his thigh, it is located at the pelvis. Advantageously, the step of determining the criticality index comprises the steps of: calculating the position of the occupant's leg during its maximum advance; projecting the horizontal and vertical accelerations in the axis of the tibia; an axial force on the tibia from projected horizontal and vertical accelerations; - calculate a moment on the tibia related to deformation of the footrest; 20 - calculate a moment on the tibia related to horizontal and vertical accelerations projected; - calculating the criticality index of the shock based on the calculated moments and efforts on the tibia. A second aspect of the invention is a motor vehicle having a passenger compartment with a specific part in contact with an occupant whose maximum plastic deformation during a predetermined shock is determined by the method according to the first aspect of the invention. Advantageously, the passenger compartment comprises at least one structural element whose arrangement, or the thickness or the mechanical characteristics are defined to respect the maximum plastic deformation during the predetermined shock. Other features and advantages of the present invention will emerge more clearly on reading the following detailed description of an embodiment of the invention given by way of non-limiting example and illustrated by the appended drawing, in which: - Figure 1 shows an occupant in a passenger compartment with a specific part forming an intrusion. Figure 1 shows an occupant 50 installed in a vehicle seat. A 10 of his feet is in contact with a footrest 10 of the passenger compartment. During a frontal impact, the footrest is deformed and recedes into the passenger compartment, thus forming an intrusion 11 which causes additional forces during the shock on the shin 51 of the occupant. The purpose of the method according to the invention is to specify the intrusions of the foot or pedal footrest in the case of a frontal impact, at the beginning of the study phase of a new vehicle to be designed. The prior art consists in using a software (MADYMO, for example) which makes it possible to generate simulation models during an impact. With regard to the passenger compartment, the mapping is long and tedious, because of course the geometrical data of the vehicle to be designed must be taken into account, but also the data relating to the occupant during the impact, ie to say in particular the acceleration and movements during this shock. To this end, it is necessary to create (with MADYMO, for example) simulation models for occupants that take into account all the interactions with the cabin (the contacts with the 25 airbags, the restraint of the belts, the action of the pretenders ...), only for the purpose of calculating these intrusions, which is long and expensive. The method of the invention provides advantageously to use shock data already available and from another known vehicle, there is no need to use simulation means to determine these data. The method is as follows: Step 1: input of the information necessary for the positioning of the legs and feet: position of the H-point of the occupant, positions of the heel points, the angles of the footrests. Step 2: Data capture related to the shock on the other known vehicle: maximum acceleration in the horizontal and vertical directions, advanced maximum basin.
Step 3: Calculation of shin stresses and pin moments based on these data from the biomechanical characteristics of an ankle. Step 4: Evaluation of a "Tibia Index", an indicator of the criticality in shock of damage to the ankle. Step 5: Find the maximum plastic deformation by dichotomy to respect the "Tibia Index" objective of the project. The calculations are as follows: 1 / Calculation of the position of the leg during the maximum advance of the manikin (foot / shin angle and foot / vertical angle) 2 / Projection of vehicle accelerations in the axis of the tibia. 3 / Calculation of a Fz force in the axis of the Tibia from this acceleration: Fz = k1 * Tibial acceleration 4 / Calculation of a moment on the tibia Moy linked to the intrusion (from the biomechanical curve) 5 / Calculation of a moment on the tibia Moy related to the acceleration: MoY = k2 * Fz = k1 * k2 * Tibial acceleration 6 / Calculation of the moment on the tibia MoY total = MoY intrusion + MoY acceleration 7 / Calculation of " Tibia Index "estimated project from total MoY, Mox project and Fz. The data can be entered either in static (maximum value) or in time. The advantage of the temporal data is to be able to dissociate the effects of the advance basin, horizontal X and vertical Z accelerations and intrusions on the calculation of the "Tibia Index". This process can be implemented on computer-aided design software (CATIA V5 for example) because complex measurements in 3D are taken into account. It will be understood that various modifications and / or improvements obvious to those skilled in the art can be made to the various embodiments of the invention described in the present description without departing from the scope of the invention defined by the appended claims. In particular, reference is made to a frontal impact, but one could also consider determining the maximum intrusion of a door during a predetermined lateral impact.
