Abstract

The system has a pedicle screw including a head (11) with a U-shaped leg and another U-shaped leg (11-2) joined together by a base (13). A screw shaft (15) of a bone screw includes an end (18) coupled with the base, where a threaded nut (20) is externally screwed into an internal thread (19) on inner surfaces of the two legs. A rod (30) is located in a space (14) between the legs, and a coupling unit is provided between a ring (40) and the nut so that the nut causes a translational movement of the ring to the outside and along the legs when the nut is screwed into the internal thread.
