Abstract

The vehicle has a front compartment (12) for accommodating driver's cabin, and a rear compartment (14) for accommodating components e.g. storage unit (30), seat (32), table (36), kitchen equipment (40) and toilet (43). A bed (46) is arranged in the vehicle in an adjustable manner between a high retraction position in which the bed is arranged above a corner living room (18) and a low usage position. The bed comprises transverse width smaller than the rear compartment. The bed is arranged transversely in the middle of the vehicle such that side corridors (54) remain free on sides of the bed.

"Véhicule automobile habitable comportant un coin salon et un lit central à hauteur réglable" L'invention concerne un véhicule automobile habitable d'orientation principale longitudinale, constitué d'un compartiment avant dans lequel le poste de conduite du véhicule est agencé et d'un compartiment arrière comportant un coin salon. L'invention concerne plus particulièrement un véhicule automobile habitable d'orientation principale longitudinale, constitué d'un compartiment avant dans lequel le poste de conduite du véhicule est agencé et d'un compartiment arrière qui communique avec le premier compartiment, dans lequel un coin salon comportant au moins une banquette est agencé, le véhicule comportant au moins un élément de couchage qui est monté mobile en translation verticale entre une position haute d'escamotage, dans laquelle l'élément de couchage est situé au- dessus du coin salon et est accolé au plafond du compartiment arrière, et au moins une position basse d'utilisation. Un tel véhicule est connu sous la dénomination "camping-car" et il comporte entre autre un lit, un ensemble 20 sanitaire, une cuisine, un coin salon et un ensemble de rangements. Selon une disposition connue, le coin salon comporte une banquette centrale et des sièges latéraux agencés en forme de "U" ouvert vers l'avant. Une table est agencée au milieu du salon 25 en forme de "U". Le salon est par exemple agencé contre une paroi arrière du compartiment arrière. Dans un tel agencement, un lit est monté escamotable au-dessus du coin salon. A cet effet, le lit est suspendu par des liens souples à longueur variable. 30 La grande longueur du lit est agencée transversalement dans le compartiment. Le lit est contact avec trois côtés du compartiment. Plus particulièrement, l'un des grands côté du lit est en contact avec une paroi du compartiment. Une telle disposition permet de maintenir le lit horizontalement en position malgré le fait qu'il soit suspendu par des liens souples. Cette disposition n'est cependant pas pratique car l'accès au lit n'est possible que par un seul côté. Lorsque le lit est occupé par deux personnes, celle qui est couché à côté de la paroi doit demander à l'autre personne de descendre pour pouvoir descendre à son tour. La qualité de sommeil des occupants du véhicule s'en trouve ainsi affectée. Pour remédier à ces inconvénients, l'invention propose un véhicule tel que décrit précédemment, caractérisé en ce que l'élément de couchage est orienté longitudinalement et en ce qu'il présente une largeur transversale inférieure à celle du compartiment arrière, l'élément de couchage étant agencé transversalement au milieu de la cabine de manière que deux couloirs latéraux restent libre de part et d'autre de l'élément de couchage.
