Abstract
The method involves feeding accessory (50) e.g. radio tuner, by a battery (10) of a vehicle i.e. car, and feeding the accessory and the battery by an external electric generator (20) in an alternate manner. A lower threshold value of a load characteristic of the battery is determined, where the load characteristic is higher than a lower threshold value when the accessory is fed by the battery. The load characteristic is lower than the lower threshold value when the accessory and the battery are fed by the generator. An independent claim is also included for a car.
