Abstract

The method involves forming a thermoelectric material (5) according to dimensions of a thermoelectric element (1). The material is subjected to heat treatment to obtain the element with correct dimensions, where the element generates electric current under the action of a variation in temperature exerted between two faces (2a, 2b) of the element, and is in form of a ring or ring portion. One of the faces is defined by an outer peripheral surface of the ring, and the other face is defined by an inner peripheral surface of the ring. An independent claim is also included for a thermoelectric element.
