Abstract

The vehicle has a compartment (7) accessible from an outer side of the vehicle through a recess (8) formed in a vehicle body (2). A trap door (9) moves between a closed position and an open position with respect to the body by a deformable parallelogram-shaped articulation (11). The trap door is equipped with a side protection rod (22) and a gripping handle (26) that is integrated with the rod. The gripping handle comprises a hollow lower reserve (27) and a hollow upper reserve (28) that are separated by a partition (31), where the partition forms two opposite support surfaces (34, 35).
