Abstract

The mechanism has an electrical motor (1) actuating a crank (2), which forms a part of a connecting rod assembly (3) of drive shafts of a windscreen wiper (4). The wiper is mounted on a cross-piece (6) and a temporary locking system of the connecting rod assembly. The locking system comprises a removable plastic pin (5) passing through aligned holes formed in the cross-piece and the crank in a reference position of the crank. The crank comprises a V-shaped additional arm forming with the crank. The pin is formed with a metal stem part and a plastic handle.
