The present invention relates to a rear body ring of a vehicle and to a vehicle having such a rear body ring. A first rear body ring 1 known from the state of the art, illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2, comprises: - a cockpit side 10, - a gutter 11 fixedly mounted on the cockpit side 10, for example by welding points 15, - a gutter lining 12, - a reinforcement 13 fixedly mounted at the front of the gutter and on the passenger side, for example by welding points 15 - a liftgate balancer 14 fixed the reinforcement 13 at the rear of the gutter 11 for example by fixing screws 16. The terms "front" and "rear" are taken in reference from the front and the rear of the vehicle. Such a reinforcement 13 makes it possible to reinforce gutter 11 locally. However, this reinforcement 13 does not make it possible to completely eliminate flexures 20 of the hollow body constituted by the cockpit side 10, the gutter 11 and the gutter liner 12. this reinforcement 13 does not ensure a good mechanical strength of the tailgate (not shown) in the case where it is motorized. In order to overcome the aforementioned drawbacks, a second rear body ring 2 that can be envisaged, illustrated in FIG. 3, comprises: - a cockpit side 20, - a gutter 21 fixedly mounted on the cockpit side 10, for example by welding points 25, - a gutter liner 22, 30 - a partition 23 extending between the gutter 21 and the gutter liner 22 so as to increase the stiffness of the second body ring 2. The partition 23 has four faces 230 connected to the hollow body constituted by the side of the passenger compartment 20, the channel 21 and the gutter liner 22. The connection between the faces 230 of the partition 23 with the hollow body can be done for example by electric welding spots or bonding. The partition 23 prevents bending of the hollow body.
Such a partition 23 is not satisfactory for two reasons: - it has a large mass, - it is incompatible with the conventional assembly method of a rear body ring.
This assembly method is illustrated in FIGS. 4 and 5 for a third rear body ring 3 known from the state of the art of the type comprising: - a cockpit side 30, - a gutter 31 fixedly mounted on the side d 30, for example by welding points 35, a gutter liner 32 having a bent portion 320. As illustrated in Figure 4, this assembly method comprises a step of moving the gutter 31 and the side 30 is a transverse direction D towards the gutter liner 32. By "transverse" is meant a direction substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle (not shown). However, if we consider the implementation of the partition 23 with such an assembly method, then we obtain a partition 33 shown in Figure 5 which has only three faces 330 connected to the hollow body formed by the side 30, the gutter 31 and the gutter liner 32. A fourth face 330 is located at a distance OX from the gutter liner 32 due to the bent portion 320 which obstructs the passage during the movement of the gutter 31 next the transverse direction D towards the gutter lining 32. As a result, such a partition 33 is not satisfactory to avoid bending of the hollow body. The present invention aims to remedy all or part of the aforementioned drawbacks and relates to a rear body ring of a vehicle of the type comprising: - a side of the passenger compartment, 30 - a gutter mounted on the side of the cabin, - a gutter liner, a first reinforcing element mounted at the front of the gutter and on the passenger side, said rear body ring being remarkable in that it comprises: a second reinforcing element mounted to the back of the gutter liner, and in that the first and second reinforcing members are shaped to engage in shape complementarity so that the gutter and the cockpit side are mounted on the gutter liner. Thus, such a rear body ring according to the invention makes it possible to block the hollow body constituted by the cockpit side, the gutter and the gutter liner by means of the first and second reinforcement elements so that the flexures of the hollow bodies are severely limited or suppressed. The stiffness of the rear body ring is greatly improved. In addition, the engagement of the first and second reinforcing elements by shape complementarity makes it possible to be compatible with the conventional assembly method previously described by dispensing with the geometric shapes of the hollow body, which makes the first and second adaptable. reinforcement elements with different geometrical configurations of the cabin side and / or the gutter and / or the gutter liner. In one embodiment, the vehicle is intended to extend along a longitudinal axis, and the first and second reinforcing elements are shaped to engage along an axis transverse to said longitudinal axis. Thus, the rear body ring according to the invention can easily be assembled. According to one embodiment, the first and second reinforcing elements have cross sections shaped to cooperate in form complementarity. According to a particular embodiment, each of the first and second reinforcement elements comprises a transverse wall and at least one longitudinal wall so as to have a substantially L-shaped cross section. According to a particular embodiment, each of the first and second reinforcement elements has two longitudinal walls interconnected by the corresponding transverse wall so as to have a substantially U-shaped cross-section. Thus, such cross-sectional shapes allow engagement of the first and second reinforcing elements by shape complementarity.
Preferably, the longitudinal walls of the first and second reinforcement elements respectively have first and second vertical spacings less than substantially 6 mm. According to a feature, the or each longitudinal wall of the first reinforcing element is fixed to a longitudinal wall of the second reinforcing element, preferably by gluing. Thus, such a fastening makes it possible to improve the stiffness of the rear body ring and to be able to adapt the transverse dimension of the engagement of the first and second reinforcing elements according to the geometrical configuration of the hollow body. When each of the first and second reinforcing elements has an L-shaped cross-section, the longitudinal wall of the first reinforcing element is fixed to the longitudinal wall of the second reinforcing element. When each of the first and second reinforcing elements has a U-shaped cross section, the two longitudinal walls of the first reinforcing element are fixed to the two longitudinal walls of the second. This makes it possible to improve the strength of the first and second reinforcing elements with two fixing zones relative to a fixing zone when the first and second reinforcement elements each have an L-shaped section. In addition, the first and second spacings less than substantially 6 mm allows to limit the amount of glue such as a structuring adhesive expansion to be used to fix the longitudinal walls between them. According to one embodiment, the rear body ring comprises a tailgate balancer mounted integral with the first reinforcing element at the rear of the gutter. Thus, the first and second reinforcing elements also make it possible to improve the mechanical strength of the tailgate on the rear body ring, even if it is motorized. According to one embodiment, the second reinforcing member is fixedly mounted at the rear of the gutter liner, preferably by welding. The present invention also relates to a remarkable vehicle in that it comprises a rear body ring according to the invention. Other features and advantages will become apparent in the following description of an embodiment of a rear body ring according to the invention, given by way of non-limiting example, with reference to the appended drawings in which: FIG. 1 (already mentioned) is a schematic cross-sectional view of a first rear body ring of the state of the art; FIG. 2 (already mentioned) is a partial schematic view in longitudinal section of the first Figure 3 (already mentioned) is a schematic cross-sectional view of a second rear body ring of the state of the art, FIG. 4 (already mentioned in FIG. ) is a schematic partial cross sectional view illustrating a method of assembling a third rear body ring of the state of the art, - Figure 5 (already mentioned) is a partial view schem 3 is a schematic partial cross-sectional view illustrating the assembly of a rear body ring according to the invention, FIG. 7 is a schematic partial view in longitudinal section of the rear body ring illustrated in FIG. 6. The rear body ring 5 of a vehicle illustrated in FIGS. 6 and 7 comprises: one side of passenger compartment 50 of the vehicle (not shown), 25 - a gutter 51 mounted on the cabin side 50, - a gutter liner 52 having a curved portion 520, - a first reinforcing member 53a mounted at the front of the gutter 51 and on the passenger side 50, - a second reinforcing member 53b mounted at the rear of the gutter liner 52. - a tailgate balancer 54 mounted integral with the first reinforcing member 53a at the rear of the gutter 51. The terms "Front" and "rear" are referenced from the front and the rear of the vehicle. The gutter 51 is fixed on the passenger side 50, for example by means of soldering points 55, in particular of the electric welding point type. Similarly, the first reinforcing member 53a is attached to the front of the trough 51 and to the passenger compartment side 50 by means of weld spots 55. Similarly, the second reinforcing member 53b is attached to the rear from the gutter liner 52 to the solder point means 55. The tailgate balancer 54 may be mounted integral with the first reinforcing member 53a at the rear of the gutter 51, in particular with the fixing screw means 56. The first and second reinforcing elements 53a, 53b are shaped to engage in shape complementarity so that the gutter 51 and the cockpit side are mounted on the gutter liner 52. For this purpose, the vehicle is intended to extend along a longitudinal axis X'-X, and the first and second reinforcing elements 53a, 53b are shaped to engage along a transverse axis Y'-Y said longitudinal axis X'-X.
The first and second reinforcing members 53a, 53b have substantially U-shaped cross-sections shaped to cooperate by shape complementarity. More specifically, each of the first and second reinforcing elements 53a, 53b comprises two longitudinal walls 530 interconnected by the corresponding transverse wall 531 so as to have a substantially U-shaped cross section. The longitudinal walls 530 of the first and second elements reinforcement 53a, 53b respectively have first and second vertical spacings AZ less than substantially 6 mm.
