Abstract

The invention relates to a method for inserting carbon nanofillers, such as carbon nanotubes, carbon black, carbon nanofibers, or graphenes, into a metal powder or metal alloy. According to the invention, the metal in the form of powder is mixed with carbon nanofillers in the presence of an organic binder capable of being broken down, through heating, with a negligible residual ash content of less than 10%, and possibly less than 5%, wherein said mixture is carried out in a compounding device. The invention can be used in methods utilized in metallurgy for producing metal structures.
