Abstract

The invention relates to a method for managing, depending on the load transported, the operation of a hybrid vehicle (1) of the vehicle type for transporting heavy loads, in particular containers, comprising at least one heat engine (2) and at least an electric motor (3), as well as storage means (4) for electrical energy. More particularly, through laden weight detection means (5), the movement of said vehicle (1) is managed by the heat engine(s) (2) and/or the electric motor(s) (3), according to a law training dependent on this weight. The invention also relates to a hybrid vehicle for the implementation of the above comprising, in particular, means (5) for detecting the laden weight.
