Description

The present invention relates to a multiple-sided gripper device, to hang under a worktop, or to pose. Usually, multiple outlets - especially for tertiary use - are designed to be laid on the ground, and are equipped with a single face upward.

35 This system mostly produces a kind of spaghetti of wires, electrical outlets, and network jacks more or less well hidden under the tables, and hard to clean. In the case of landscaped offices, and workplaces in central position accommodating several positions, the number of available outlets is quickly saturated, and multiple power strips are added to the previous ones to further increase the entanglement of tangled wires. Finally, alternative systems of posts with plugs, or equipped posts are complex or impossible to move once installed. Our proposal is to equip a box, which will be suspended under a desk, or placed on it, and all faces will be provided with female sockets, mains or low currents. For example, a cubic box of 20cm on the side can easily offer 3 outlets 220V (or 110V), and two network jacks (such as RJ-45) on each of its 4 vertical faces, a total of 20 connections, largely sufficient for the operation of 4 computer stations each equipped with a telephone, an internet connection, a corrugated socket for the central unit, and two sockets for a screen and a device. The upper face of the box will be equipped with a ring or a hook to suspend it. The bottom of the box will be equipped with two plugs (type 220V) for connection to different power grids, and four double connections (type RJ-45) for an Internet - Ethernet star for example. The power strip would be, as a non-limiting example, powered by two sheaths containing the strong currents for the first, and up to 8 network cables for the second, and which would be connected - if desired - apparently to a cable tray , a ground-mounted socket, an equipped post or pole device, or wall outlets. It is also conceivable to put the power strip on the table, removing the hanger hook, and return the box that will work just as well. The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention: FIGS. 1), 2) and 3) illustrate, in part, by way of non-limiting example, a way of producing a device in the form of a cube, by means of aluminum sheets , and outlets easy to find in the trade. Figures 4), 5) and 6) show the device in elevation once the parts assembled, respectively in lateral facade, upper, and lower. FIG. 7) illustrates in three dimensions the general appearance of the suspended device, in use. With reference to these drawings, the device presented by way of nonlimiting example comprises a box comprising two half-shells (1a and 1b). 1b), an upper face (11) and a lower face (8). The two half-shells (1a and 1b) are pierced with holes (2) for the mains plugs (4) and network (5) and for the screw passages (6), and then assembled to form a shell (7). The half-shells (1a and 1b), the shell (7), or the assembly consisting of the shell (7), the upper face (11) and the lower face (8) can be made of sheet metal. folded aluminum, but also of another material, such as a molded plastic, thermoformed, thinner steel sheets, or other, provided that the material complies with the regulations in force, in particular in terms of fire resistance . Grids "universal supports" (3) of single or multiple electrical equipment are equipped with the jacks provided in strong currents 220V (4) and weak FU-45 (5), clipped beforehand and then placed inside of the shell (7) so that the sockets (4) and (5) come opposite the openings (2) provided in the shell. They are then fixed by means of nuts arranged in the passages (6) provided. In the example shown, the grids (3) can be used to maintain between them the half-shells (1a and 1b) to form the shell (7). The box bottom (8), intended to accommodate the connection to the cable networks, is equipped with male 220V sockets (9) and low current inputs (10), and then set up. All the equipment is then wired between the current inputs (9) and (10), and the different outputs (4) and (5), in accordance with x rules of the art. Finally, the cover (11) equipped with the suspension ring (12) is fixed to the assembly. In the nonlimiting example illustrated, a minimum of three notches (13) are arranged at the upper and lower edges on the shell (7) and spaced apart from each other in order to stabilize the bottom (8) in position. and the cover (9) by means of lugs (14) provided vis-a-vis the notches at the cutting of the pieces. A threaded rod (15) traversing the device from one side, and screwed into a thread (16) provided in the box bottom (8) on one side, and in the suspension ring (12) which acts as a nut of the other, maintains the upper faces (11) and lower (8) in position on the shell (7) .The rod (15) passes the center of gravity of the equipped box, so that it remains in position right when suspended. The number of parts, the assembly, and the eventual need for the use of socket-outlets will be determined by the specific manufacturing procedures, particularly in the case of plastics that could include molding, similar to the multi-socket devices common in trade, female plug terminations. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for the development of workspaces, tertiary offices, and more particularly to landscaping of "open" type, work plans that are not arranged against walls, and "multi-user" tables that require a large number of connections of all kinds. 35
