Abstract

The device has a backpack type support for retaining a hollow shell (D) that is provided with a blunt upper apex. The support comprises two elastic shoulder straps (SE) and a belt (C) e.g. lumbar or abdominal belt, with a Velcro(RTM: hook and loop fastener), for threading and maintaining the device on the back of a person. The shell has an edge that is carpeted with flexible foam having 1 cm thickness. The shell is formed from thermoformable material at low temperature, in series.

Description

-1- La présente invention concerne un dispositif médical de sécurisation du sommeil de certaines personnes à risques qui ont un besoin impératif de rester en décubitus latéral durant leur sommeil .Ils sont exposés à l'apnée et à la mort subite en décubitus dorsal. Dans certaines maladies, comme les insuffisances respiratoires, les insuffisances cardiaques, après opérations , chirurgie thoracique ,chirurgie cardio vasculaire etc.... Le décubitus dorsale est à proscrire quand il y a un risque grave et réel d'apnée et de mort subite. Plusieurs méthodes sont pratiquées pour mettre le sujet en décubitus latéral : - Traditionnellement les oreillers sont les plus simples et les plus couramment utilisés dans les hôpitaux, en clinique ou à domicile. - Attacher au lit. - l'usage d' une balle de tennis dans le dos pour certains praticiens. - Faire garder un malade 7 jours sur 7, 24 H sur 24 , c'est à dire en permanence par un membre de la famille ou un professionnel - Télésurveillance etc.... Claims

CLAIMS1- Medical device intended to maintain a person at risk in lateral decubitus during his sleep, characterized in that it comprises a hollow shell D and a backpack-type support for retaining the hollow shell, comprising two shoulder straps SE and a C belt for donning and holding on the person's back.

2- Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the shell has a particular shape with a wide cross-shaped base comprising an ant front end with rounded tip thus allowing to be housed between the shoulder blades, lateral fins LG, LD support system stabilizer, and a posterior part Post wide allowing a good seating of the device, profile view the hull presents a silhouette of an iron with its top S and its base B sectional view the device presenting a triangle with a vertex upper S blunted its base B and height HA.
