Abstract

The system has an external tube and an internal tube sliding relative to each other by rails on the internal tube so as to define a closed position in which a proximal intravascular end is covered and does not contact with blood and an open position in which the proximal intravascular end is uncovered and in contact with the blood. The open and closed positions are obtained by pressure and traction on an external part approaching a point (A) from point (B).

Description

The invention relates to an occlusive system by sliding the catheter on itself, for vascular first necessary for extracorporeal treatment such as hemodialysis, plasma exchange, or parenteral nutrition or injection of products for chemotherapy. Conventional hemodialysis catheters are known which have an intravascular end or exchange between purified and unpurified blood; this end is always in contact with blood outside or during hemodialysis sessions, with time the fibrin is deposited at the holes where exchanges occur causing the malfunction or see the total cessation of trade.

The object of the invention is to provide an occlusive system by sliding the catheter on itself, which will allow us to close the intravascular part or exchange purified and unpurified blood at the end of the dialysis session. that this part is not pleased with the blood contact and we will avoid the dysfunction of the catheter by deposition of fibrin, and to reopen it with the bronchiality of the next session.

Fig 1: view of the closed system. the view of the closed system put on tunnelized catheter of hemodialysis. Fig 2: view of the open system. 2a: view of the open system placed on a tunneled hemodialysis catheter. Fig 3: View of the open catheter at the level of the internal jugular vein. Fig 4: view of the closed catheter at the level of the internal jugular vein. Fig 5: Sagittal section of the sliding device which allows opening and closing. In Figure 1 the diagram shows the closed occlusive system placed on a monolumeric catheter tunneled for long duration, as can be seen the intravascular portion where the holes that allow exchanges is covered, and this through a system sliding of the catheter on itself, this will avoid the contact of the blood exchange surface outside sessions.

This closure will be by gentle traction on the outer part away point A from point B while injecting saline to drive the blood remaining in the catheter and this approaching point C point D (Figure 1).

In Figure-2a the diagram shows the open occlusive system placed on a monolumiere catheter tunneled for long duration, and whose intravascular part where are the holes that allow exchanges is discovered to allow exchange of purified and unpurified blood .

This opening will be done by a simple pressure on the outer part bringing the point A of the point B, and this distance from the point C of the point D (fig 2).

In Fig. 3 the diagram shows the open system placed on a tunneled catheter for hemodialysis in the vein during a hemodialysis session.

In Fig. 4 the diagram shows the closed system placed on the tunneled catheter for hemodialysis in the vein at the end of the hemodialysis session.

In Figure 5 the diagram shows a sagittal section we can understand the sliding system that is done during closing and opening.

This sliding occlusive system may be achieved by placing two catheters with a difference in diameter which will allow us to slide the outer catheter onto the inner catheter with virtual light between them, to allow us to close and to open the catheter. Inside the catheter the sliding system will be via four rails which is located along the inner pipe and this to facilitate sliding as can be seen in Figure 5. 40
