Abstract

The device (200) has a hollow cylindrical reservoir (102) whose upper part is provided with an inlet (112) and a lower part is provided with an outlet (114), where the outlet is provided with a base (106). A stopper (108) is supported on the base. A cylindrical protection cover (202) extends from the reservoir till below the stopper. A stopblock (204) is integrated with the stopper, and extends below the stopper till its height such that the stopper is accessible by a livestock animal. A threaded rod (206) has ends that are screwed with the stopblock and the stopper, respectively.
