Abstract

The device has three elements e.g. bottom (1), rubber key pad (2) and a decorative facade (3), on which twelve boxes are formed, and a fourth element formed of a sheet of adhesive letters. The bottom is in direct contact with keys of a bank card reader. Metal contact rods (5) are soldered on each of boxes of bottom. The facade is positioned on the rubber key pad. Four letters forming a new code are glued on the keypad, and eight letters are glued on the keypad at random for filling empty boxes to be positioned directly on the bottom.

Description

The present invention relates to a device for storing the confidential code of a bank card. Withdrawals and payments are traditionally made using a credit card accompanied by a four-digit code that must be memorized at risk of not being able to use the card if you forget this code. Some codes contain a series of easy-to-remember numbers because in relation to a life event (code: 1802 your date of birth, February 18th); the user will remember it but not eliminating the risk of confusing it with the pin code of his mobile phone which also consists of four digits. The device according to the invention overcomes this disadvantage. It comprises in fact according to a first characteristic, three plates clipped together and a board of adhesive letters. These letters will allow the user of the credit card to replace the four-digit code with a four-letter word that will be his favorite color, the nickname of a person who is dear to him or the diminutive of a first name; thus when the user will have to type his confidential code, he will retain more easily a word that he himself has chosen. According to particular embodiments: - a first pre-drilled metal plate with twelve boxes can form the bottom. - A second rubber pad with twelve boxes provided to paste the letters. - A third plate with twelve boxes cut to access the keys of the previous wafer. - Four holes located at the four corners of each plate for insertion of the clips - Metal rods behind the bottom for contact with the cash dispenser or the credit card reader. FIG. 3 represents an exemplary code with the four letters of the diminutive FRED having replaced the four digits of the code 5864. With reference to these drawings, the device comprises a bottom (1) with twelve boxes behind which is a metal rod ( 5) pressing it on the keys of the cash dispenser or the credit card reader. At the four corners of this bottom is a hole (4) to insert the clips. On this bottom comes a plate with twelve rubber keys (2) on which will be glued the adhesive letters of the board (6) which form the four-letter word that replaces the four-digit code. The remaining eight boxes will be filled with other letters taken randomly on the board (6). The holes (4) for the insertion of the clips are also at the four corners of the wafer. A decorative facade (3) on which twelve boxes are precut to access the rubber keys (2) is placed on the previous plate. This facade also has four holes (4) for the clips. The three parts making up the device, the bottom (1), the rubber pad (2) and the decorative front (3) are then clipped together to form a whole. According to a variant (not shown), if the word chosen to replace the four-digit code is a diminutive of three letters (eg BER for Bernard), the heart that is on the board of adhesive letters can replace the fourth letter. By way of non-limiting example, the entire device will have dimensions of the order of 8.5 cm for the length and 5.5 cm for the width. Claims (5)

CLAIMS1) Device for storing the code of a bank card characterized in that it comprises three elements on which there are twelve boxes: a bottom (1), a rubber plate (2) and a decorative front (3) and a fourth element consisting of a board of adhesive letters (6). 2) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the bottom being in direct contact with the keys of the bank card reader (11), twelve metal rods (5) of small size will be welded to each of the twelve boxes of the bottom. 3) Device according to claim 1 or claim 2 characterized in that the rubber plate (2) on which the user sticks the four letters forming its new code and eight other letters taken at random to fill the empty boxes comes to lay directly on the bottom (1). 4) Device according to the preceding claims characterized in that the decorative facade (3) comes to rest on the rubber plate (2). 5) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the three elements are clipped together by a clip inserted into the hole (4) and for the four corners of each element. 3
