Abstract

L'invention a trait à un module d'éclairage comprenant une source lumineuse du type diode à électroluminescence (10, 16) éclairant essentiellement dans un demi-espace , un premier réflecteur (6, 14) et un second réflecteur (8, 12) de plus petite distance focale et disposé entre la source lumineuse (10, 16) et le premier réflecteur (6, 14). La géométrie et la position du second réflecteur (8, 12) sont choisis pour que ce dernier, bien que disposé plus près de la source lumineuse, laisse passer une majeure partie des rayons lumineux émis par la source vers le premier réflecteur générant le faisceau d'éclairage principal. Le second réflecteur (8, 12) collecte une partie des rayons émis par la source qui ne sont pas collecté par le premier réflecteur (6, 14) et génère un faisceau secondaire qui vient s'ajouter au faisceau principal. Cette construction permet de concevoir un module avec un réflecteur principal de taille réduite tout en ayant un rendement énergétique élevé.
