Abstract
The invention relates to a device for maintaining in an inverted vertical position an English cane, without the aid of external support. The device is constituted by a rod or tab attached to the end of the handle of the English cane vertically upwards, and whose extremity (C) forms a triangle of levitation (ABC) with the upper points (A and B ) of the gutter of the cane, the center G2 of the triangle being vertical to the center of gravity G1 of the cane when the latter is turned upside down. The leg is attached to the handle of the cane English through a dowel turning on itself and easy déboitable.
Description
Device for maintaining vertically on the ground and upside down an English cane without the aid of external support.
The present invention relates to a device for holding vertically on the ground and upside down an angla9CP rod. English canes are not stable because the head is heavier than the foot, it slides against a support, like a chair, a table, a wall ... so often out of reach of the hand. Having it vertically next to you makes it always within easy reach and easy to grasp. .4 p Several devices have been proposed to keep English canines vertically upside down or in place.
Mais tous s'avèrent : Trop complexes Trop lourds Trop peu stables Obligeant à des modifications notables de la forme orthopédique D'une manipulation contraignante Enfin onéreux à mettre en oeuvre But all prove: Too complex Too heavy Too unstable Obliging significant changes to the orthopedic form A binding manipulation Finally expensive to implement
The object of the present invention is to overcome the disadvantages of already known accessories.
This device could not be simpler because it consists only of a single piece and an orifice on the handle.
3 O 2 The principle is to fix on the poipée of the English cane a stem which we will name the "paw" which, directed vertically upwards will draw with the points A and B of the channel of the cane a triangle of sustenance ABC whose center gravity G2 will be vertical to the center of gravity G1 of the cane when it is turned upside down. 3 O 2
40 The length of the leg will be such that the inclination of the cane deposited on the ground upside down will place its center of gravity according to the characteristics above. The shape of the leg will include one, two or three small ears, which will protrude slightly from the handle so that it is easily handled with the thumb index finger. The "leg" can rotate - on itself so as not to be cumbersome. om ~~ a:, ~ w ba. ante. The leg will be fixed ~ handle by an ankle, for example cast in one piece with the leg. A soft and elastic plastic is recommended. This. ankle will be flexible enough. to get out of the hole. the handle with a simple touch of the hand. This very interesting and important feature will serve as security in case of false movement. By detaching itself, it will therefore no longer present any danger and will be easy to put back by simple pressure. This peg will have 1, 2, 3 or 4 preferably 4 slots that will correspond to 1, 2, 3 or 4 small lugs around the hole of the handle. It will maintain the leg in predefined positions, including vertically upwards, that used to pose the rod freely on the ground by turning it. Instead of this ankle can be used a screw, in which case it will be necessary that this is the end of the handle that comes off. Subsidinally in the frequent case where two rods are used, we will fix a "velcro" (registered trademark) or magnets on the outer circumference of the gutter that will make the two rods together when we return them side by side on the soil thus increasing -a stability of the whole. 40
