Abstract

The device (1) has an alarm type phonic locating system i.e. siren, or visual/electronic locating system that is securely fixed in a leather object i.e. handbag (2), or integrated in the material of the object, where the locating system has reduced thickness. The locating system is activated when a tortfeasor pulls straps (3) of the object or when a hidden or visible object e.g. jewel (4), ring or collar, is isolated from the leather object.

Description

The present invention relates to a device and its trigger (1) positioned in a leather goods (2) such as a handbag, to locate it instantly or a few seconds after it is stolen or lost.

Traditionally all these leather goods do not include any system to deter thieves using including the technique of snatching. The present invention aims to indicate the location of the object of the offense instantly or a few seconds after theft.
