Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to the ornamental design of a guitar neck which facilitates the learning of the instrument Currently, the guitars do not have a technical device of marquetry for easy location of the notes on the neck. At most, they have mother-of-pearl inlays symbolizing the nature of the interval between the inlaid box and the empty rope. This fact makes it difficult to locate the notes on the neck and consequently the reading of a score. Thus, the learning of the instrument requires an effort to memorize the notes on the neck, a rather daunting effort for beginners and which can lead to premature discouragement. We propose a technical solution to materialize the notes on a guitar neck with inlaid markers, and in addition to providing an ornamental function will perform the function of facilitating reading. The drawing shows the front view of a guitar neck whose key is inlaid with pellets of colors stamped with a letter A, B, C, D, E, F or G (1). These letters refer to the Anglo-Saxon music notation system and are the equivalents of the French notes: la, si, do, ré, mi, fa, sol. The pellets of the same note will have the same color. The diameter of the pellets is between 4mm and 6mm depending on the nature of the guitar (electric, classical or acoustic) on which they will be embedded. The pellets are embedded on each of the note locations - C, D, M, F, L, S, S - in the middle of the box and under the string, and this on the entire neck of the guitar (of a standard guitar tuning: Mid treble, if, ground, re, la, serious mi). The letters are oriented so that they can be read by the player (2). The technical implementation requires a piercing of the handle on each of the boxes where the notes are present. To do this, it is preferable to use a programmed digital router to automate drilling. The pellets are then manually encrusted using a tiny dot of glue. To facilitate the work of inlay, it is advisable to fret the handle after embedding pellets. This chronology of tasks will also facilitate the finishing work. The pellets are made of plastic according to the technique of injection.
