Abstract
L'invention concerne une antenne à réflecteur(s) et réseau d'alimentation pour la couverture d'une zone géographique choisie comprenant : un réflecteur principal comprenant une surface réfléchissante formée à partir d'une surface initiale de type parabolique ; un réseau d'au moins deux sources élémentaires agencées et positionnées de manière à émettre et/ou recevoir des ondes électromagnétiques dans des directions choisies, le réseau étant placé dans le plan focal caractérisant la forme parabolique initiale du réflecteur principal ; des moyens de contrôle en amplitude et/ou phase des sources élémentaires ; dans laquelle, la surface réfléchissante du réflecteur principal est conformée de manière tridimensionnelle de façon à : (i) réfléchir chaque faisceau délivré par chaque source en étalant son énergie de sorte qu'il couvre la zone géographique choisie ; (ii) ce que le diagramme de rayonnement de chaque source définisse plusieurs sous-zones, intersection de la zone globale à couvrir avec des couverture concentriques les unes aux autres, les sous-zones étant caractérisées par une contrainte en gain qui croit à mesure que la sous-zone s'éloigne du centre de la zone géographique choisie à couvrir, la couverture choisie étant enfin réalisée par une combinaison du rayonnement de toutes les sources.The invention relates to an antenna with reflector (s) and feed network for the coverage of a selected geographical area comprising: a main reflector comprising a reflecting surface formed from an initial surface of the parabolic type; an array of at least two elementary sources arranged and positioned so as to emit and / or receive electromagnetic waves in selected directions, the array being placed in the focal plane characterizing the initial parabolic shape of the main reflector; means for controlling the amplitude and / or phase of the elementary sources; in which, the reflecting surface of the main reflector is shaped three-dimensionally so as to: (i) reflect each beam delivered by each source by spreading its energy so that it covers the chosen geographical area; (ii) that the radiation pattern of each source defines several sub-areas, intersection of the overall area to be covered with concentric coverage to each other, the sub-areas being characterized by a gain constraint which increases as the sub-area moves away from the center of the geographical area chosen to be covered, the chosen coverage finally being achieved by a combination of the radiation from all the sources.
