Abstract

The assembly has a removable weight (2) magnetized for being held on a light support (3), where the weight is provided with an anti-skid coating. The support is constituted of a thin steel plate that is permanently fixed on a ski (1). Flanges are secured to the support or the weight for preventing backward or sideward sliding of the weight and allowing forward sliding of the weight. The support is fixed on the ski by an acrylic foam type double-sided thick tape that dampens vibrations.

DESCRIPTION DESCRIPTION

Title: Magnetic weights for ski touring. Technical Field: The present invention is a set of magnetic weights that increase the inertia of a ski touring. 05 State of the art: The search for climbing performance requires the lightest possible ski touring possible. On the other hand, the best skis on the descent must keep some inertia to stay the course and dampen vibrations at high speed. The damping system of patent FR2383680 of 1978 is attached to the ski. But for climbing with ski touring, knowing that the weight in motion to the feet is about 5 times more energy than the same weight in a backpack, it is particularly interesting to provide easily removable magnetic weights. DETAILED DESCRIPTION: Each magnetic weight (2) is placed on a light support consisting of a thin steel plate (3) permanently attached to the ski (1) for example by a thick double-sided adhesive (4) damping the vibration. The carrier (3) has flanges which prevent the flyweight from slipping backwards or sideways, however the user can easily remove the counterweight by sliding it forward. The same result can be achieved by putting flanges on the counterweight instead of putting them on the support.

La figure 2 représente la même masselotte avec son support vu de coté (ski non représenté).List of Figures: Figure 1 shows a weight mounted near the spatula of a ski, seen from above. FIG. 2 represents the same weight with its support viewed from the side (ski not shown).

Embodiment of the invention: The flyweight (2) can be a neodymium / iron / boron type flat magnet with anti-corrosion coating and anti-slip coating. The support (3) can be made by stamping a steel sheet and well by cutting and folding to obtain the flanges.

The support (3) can be attached to the ski (1) by an acrylic foam type double-sided adhesive (4).
