Abstract

The invention relates to a method for detecting a fake finger for fingerprint acquisition software having improved performance. For this purpose, the method of the invention involves implementing a statistical analysis step STAT including calculating a matrix GLGR of an image IMG of a finger. Optionally, but preferably, the invention further comprises combining a statistical analysis STAT and a dynamic analysis DYN in order to optimize the capability of detecting fake fingers.
