Abstract

The device has an adapter including two ends respectively with plate parts (1, 2) pierced by two round holes (3, 4) permitting assembling of the adapter on a Mauser 98(RTM: manually operated bolt action rifle) (11). The adapter includes a lower part machined for each section of a weapon casing before being provided with a Blaser type telescope support. A central part of the adapter includes two convex parts (5, 6) with counerbores (7, 8) and millings permitting hooking and locking of the Blaser type telescope support.

Description

The present invention relates to a device for mounting a blaser type rifle holder on Mauser rifle or other hunting weapon. To date, there are various types of spectacle holders adapted to the different hunting rifles or eyeglass mountings specific to each hunting weapon manufacturer. The support type Blaser does little in the current state of things that be mounted on the arms of this manufacturer. The device according to the invention makes it possible to mount the Blaser type bezel support on a Mauser rifle or other hunting weapon. It consists of a metal adapter positioned on the top of the receiver. Fixing is done by screwing the adapter into the threaded holes in the receiver. The length, the radii of the underside of the adapter as well as the spacings of the fixing screw holes are adapted to each weapon concerned. The top of the adapter has at each end a flat portion (Figure No. I marks 1 and 2) pierced with 2 round holes (Figure No. 1 mark 3 and 4) allowing 'S- assembly of the adapter with tear. The central part comprises two convex parts (FIG. 1, reference numerals 5 and 6) having two counterbores on the right side (FIG. 1, reference 7 and 8) and two millings on the left side (FIG. the hooking and locking of the Blaser type bezel holder. The central part of the adapter being widely indented on the right side to facilitate the loading of the weapon (Figure No. 1 mark II). The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention: FIG. 1 represents the adapter on these 3 faces. FIG. 2 represents the adapter (FIG. 2, item 1) mounted on the upper part of the receiver (FIG. 2, reference 2). The Blaser-type bezel holder is assembled on the adapter (FIG. 2, item 3) and the aiming bezel itself is mounted on the Blaser type bezel holder (FIG. 2, item 4).
