Description
The present invention relates to the general field of fumistery; it relates more particularly to a smoke evacuation device through a roof, which device comprises a smoke evacuation duct passing through an orifice in the roof, and means for sealing said orifice on the periphery of this duct. Conventionally, the fumes generated by the heaters of the stove type, insert, stove or boiler are channeled through a pipe in several sections that opens outwardly through a hole in the roof. This duct is placed by juxtaposing a plurality of sections, starting from the bottom. The outer emergent portion of this duct may be dressed by a roof-type structure that surrounds the belt and which seals at the orifice formed in the roof. In other cases, when the duct is not surrounded by a casing of the roof outlet type, it emerges externally to make itself the visible outer part, called strain, and the space between the periphery of the roof. roof opening and the outer face of the duct is filled by a sealing structure generally consisting of a flashing prepared on site, interposed between the roof and a sealing collar secured around the perimeter of the duct. However, such a seal may be random depending on the care taken by the operator and the products or materials used. The present invention aims to overcome this disadvantage by providing a smoke evacuation structure sealed in itself and therefore no longer requires the realization of a complementary sealing on the site at the time of installation. For this purpose, the smoke evacuation device through a roof, according to the invention, which device comprises a smoke evacuation duct passing through an orifice formed in the roof, and means for sealing said orifice. on the periphery of said duct, is characterized in that said sealing means comprise a base formed of a plate intended to come to rest on said roof opening, which plate is provided with an opening extended upwards by a raising of a tubular base, of vertical or substantially vertical axis, said smoke evacuation duct passing through said base lift and comprising a peripheral collar, which cap at least the upper part of said base lift, which leads further comprises support means on said base lift and means for adjusting the inclination of its axis relative to the axis of said base lift. According to a preferred embodiment, the support means of the duct on the riser base consist of two journals aligned on the same horizontal axis, integral with one of the elements (duct or riser base), which journals come each housed in a receiving cradle integral with the other element (raising base or conduit), which two sets of trunnion / receiving cradle are diametrically opposed on either side of said duct, to obtain a possibility of pivoting said driven relative to said raising of base around said horizontal axis, said conduit being further equipped with means for its adjustable fixing on the frame of the roof, to ensure its fixing after adjusting the verticality of its axis. In a preferred embodiment, the two journals are secured to the outer face of the conduit and they extend into the space covered by the peripheral collar. In this context, each pin is advantageously carried by a support whose lower portion extends under said pin according to a slope serving as a centering guide on the rising base. Still according to a preferred embodiment, each cradle for receiving a journal is constituted by the bottom of a through opening formed from the upper peripheral edge of the base lift. According to yet another particularity, the adjustable fastening means of the duct on the roof structure consist of at least one bracket-shaped lug, one of whose wings is articulated around a horizontal axis on said duct, associated with locking means, and the other wing comprises at least one oblong hole for fixing by screwing on said roof frame. Preferably, the peripheral flange of the duct which caps the raising of the base comprises a first tubular section secured in a sealed manner with the outer face of the duct, extended downwards by a second section which flares outwards, itself extended downwards by a third tubular section. The plate of the base of the device advantageously comprises peripheral edges whose shape is adapted to the cover material, to achieve the sealed interface with said material; it also preferably comprises at least one abutment intended to abut against the edge of a roof batt to achieve its positioning. The base of the device is advantageously made of sheet metal (s) folded (s) and welded (s). The invention will be further illustrated by the following description of a particular embodiment, given solely by way of example and shown in the accompanying drawings in which: - Figure 1 is a schematic view, in longitudinal section, of a smoke evacuation device according to the invention; - Figure 2 is a view along the section plane 2-2 of Figure 1; - Figure 3 is a schematic perspective view of the smoke evacuation device according to Figures 1 and 2; - Figure 4 is a perspective view of the means that allow the adjustable attachment of the conduit on the frame of the building equipped. As illustrated in Figures 1 to 3, the smoke evacuation device 1 comprises two main parts, namely: - a base 2, adapted to be positioned on an orifice A formed in the roof, which base 2 is provided with an opening 3 extended upwards by a raising of tubular base 4, and a tubular duct for evacuating smoke 5, passing through the rising of tubular base 4 of the base 2; this duct 5 comprises (i) a peripheral flange 6, capping the upper part of said raising base 4, (ii) means 8 to bear on said base lift 4, and (iii) means 9 for fixing it on a support structure (in particular the frame C of the equipped building), after adjustment of the inclination of its axis 5 'with respect to the axis 4' of said raising base 4. The base 2 is made of sheet metal (s) folded (s) and welded (s), for example stainless steel. It is in the form of a plate 10, here rectangular, at the center of which is formed the orifice 3, here circular, whose edge is extended upward by the rise of tubular base 4, here circular section ( but which could be of square section or other). The inside diameter of the base lift 4 is greater than the outside diameter of the duct 5. The axis 4 'of the base lift 4 is adapted to extend vertically or as close as possible to the vertical, depending on the slope of the roof T on which the plate 10 comes to rest. The lateral edges 11 of the plate 10, as well as its upper 12 and lower 13 edges are adapted to the covering material a (tiles or slates in particular), to provide a sealed interface with this material. In particular, for a slate roof, these side edges 11, upper 12 and lower 13 may simply consist of the four sides of the plate 10, without particular extension (as shown in Figures 1 to 3). In this case, the roofer covers slates at the lateral edges 11 and the upper edge 12 of the plate 10, and its lower edge 13 comes to cover the lower slate line opposite.
For a tiled roof, the lateral edges 11 of the plate 10 may include upstanding lips sealing, and its upper edges 12 and lower 13 will include extensions to the square, cut according to the section of the underlying tiles.
In FIG. 1, it can be seen that the lower face of the plate 10 comprises an abutment element 15, projecting over all or substantially all of its width, designed to be positioned against the upper edge of a batten 1 of the roof T , to ensure the stable positioning of the base 2. In Figures 1 to 3, there is the presence of two openings 16, formed from the upper edge of the base lift 4, diametrically opposed, the bottom is in the form of a cradle semicircular section 17 and whose upper portion 18 flares outwardly. These openings 16 in the form of notches or grooves form part of the support means 8 mentioned above. They are arranged on a line parallel to the lower and upper edges 12 of the base plate 10, that is to say on a line intended to extend perpendicular to the slope of the roof T. For its part, the smoke evacuation duct 5, of axis 5 ', has a constant circular section. This duct 5 is here delimited by a double outer wall and is made by assembling a plurality of sections assembled end to end.
In Figures 1 to 3, the conduit portion 5 consists of an assembly of two sections, one upper 5a and the other lower 5b. The free ends of these two sections 5a and 5b comprise means allowing their assembly with sections of complementary conduits. As specified above, the duct 5 comprises a circular peripheral collar 6, made of sheet metal (for example stainless steel), secured to its outer face. More precisely, this flange 6 is constituted, starting from the top to the bottom: - of a first tubular section 6a, of constant circular section, whose inside diameter corresponds, with the clearance, to the external diameter of the duct 5, - d ' a second frustoconical section 6b, which flares outwardly downwards, and - a third tubular section 6c, of constant circular section, whose diameter is greater than the diameter of the base lift 4 and the height of which is several centimeters, for example 10 to 15 cm; on the detail of Figure 2, it is noted that the lower free end of the third section 6c flange 6 has a finishing ply 20 oriented internally. The first two collar sections 6a and 6b are advantageously made in one piece and the lower end of the frustoconical section 6b has a small cylindrical extension which allows its assembly by welding with the third section 6c. The flange 6, once prefabricated, is secured to the duct 5, coaxially with it, by welding its first section 6a on the outer face of said duct 5. Advantageously, here a continuous sealed sealing operation is carried out, for example a seam type welding. This preparation of the conduit 5 is made in the factory. The inner face of the flange 6 and the outer face of the duct 5 delimit between them a space or a chamber 21 whose annular opening 22 is oriented downwards.
Inside this chamber 21, the duct 5 comprises two journals 23 projecting outwards, aligned on the same axis 23 'perpendicular to the axis 5' of said duct 5, and diametrically opposite. These pins 23 each consist of a cylindrical rod carried by a support leg 24 in the general shape of Omega, welded to the outer face of the duct 5. The two support tabs 24 are arranged vertically; they comprise - two ends 24a located in the same plane and welded on the outer face of the duct 5, - a central plate 24b, spaced from the duct 5, on which is connected and welded the pin 23, and - two connecting portions between said central plate 24b and each end 24a: one upper 24c and the other lower 24d.
These two connecting portions 24c and 24d extend divergently with respect to each other from the central plate 24b; in particular, the lower connecting portion 24d extends upwardly from the lower end portion 24a to the central plate 24b. The journals 23 are advantageously equipped with a head 23a and they are positioned on the plate 24b by passing through an orifice formed in the latter, before their joining by welding. The head 23a of the two opposite journals 23 is pressed against the inner face of the plate 24b and the two journals 23 project outwardly, opposite each other, on the one hand and on the other. other of the duct 5. More particularly, they extend in the space or chamber 21 above, opposite the third section 6c of the flange 6. The distance separating the ends of the two journals 23 is slightly smaller than the internal diameter of the circular section 6c of the collar 6, and it is greater than the diameter of the base lift 4. On the other hand, the distance separating the two plates 24b of the two support tabs 24 is smaller than the diameter of this raising base 4. The flange 6 and the two journals 23 mounted on their support leg 24 separate the conduit 5 in two parts, the upper one to be positioned outside the building equipped (above the roof T) to realize the outside part. visible from the duct, commonly called strain, and the other inferior, intended for the most part to be positioned inside the building equipped (under the roof T). As can be seen in FIG. 1, this lower part of the duct 5 comprises the aforementioned means 9 for fixing it against a support structure, in particular the frame C of the building. These fixing means 9, illustrated in isolation in FIG. 4, consist of an open collar 25 provided with a clamping screw 26, able to surround the conduit 5, on which collar is mounted at least one fixing lug 27 in the form of general angle.
As illustrated in FIG. 4, the collar 25 is here equipped with two diametrically opposed fastening tabs 27. Each lug 27 has a wing 27a hingedly mounted on the collar 25 about an axis 28; this wing 27a is associated with a locking means in the position consisting of an arcuate light 29 formed in said wing 27a, cooperating with a quick-acting screw (butterfly screw type) integral with the collar 25.
One end of the wing 27a extends to the square by a wing 27b, provided with a plurality of oblong orifices 31 for its adjustable attachment to the frame C of the building equipped, by means of screws. In practice, there is provided a plurality of base references 2, taking into account the type of coverage present (arrangement of the peripheral edges of the plate 10, as described above, depending on the presence of slates or tiles) and the slope of the roof (inclination of the axis 4 'of the base lift 4 relative to the plane of the plate 10). The base 2 chosen according to the building that one wishes to equip is placed on the roof T; the axis 4 'of the rising base then extends more or less vertically.
Then, the duct 5, prepared in the factory with its flange 6 and its trunnions 23, is inserted by its lower end by the top of the base lift 4, until its two trunnions 23 come to rest in the cradles. 17 at the opening openings 16 of the raising base 4. At the same time, the flange 6 covers the upper part of the base lift 4. The duct 5 is automatically centered in the base lift 4 by the parts of sloping legs 24d; and the insertion of the journals 23 in the openings 16 is made easy by the presence of the notches 18. Once the conduit 5 bears against the raising of the base 4 by means of the two sets of trunnion 23 / cradle 17, said duct 5 can pivot about the horizontal axis 23 'defined by the two journals 23.
This pivoting is made possible because of the greater diameter of the base lift 4 relative to the diameter of the duct 5, and also the larger diameter of the lower portion 6c of the flange 6 relative to that of said ascent. base 4, and it is understood that it allows a precise adjustment of the verticality of the axis 5 'of the duct 5. The fixing of the lower part of the duct 5 to the frame C of the building is carried out simultaneously with its adjustment of verticality, by the fixing lugs 27, after adjustment of their orientation and the positioning of their support collar 25. Then, there is reported in a conventional manner complementary sections 1 o ducts for connection to the heater, on the one hand , and to finish its outer end, on the other hand. The laying of the covering elements (slates or tiles) around the perimeter of the plate 10 of the base 2 is carried out before the laying of the conduit 5. A smoke evacuation device is obtained which is very easy to install and adjust, 15 comprising optimal sealing characteristics obtained by the structure of its component parts, without the need for additional sealing operations on site. Once attached to the support frame, this smoke evacuation device is very stable and very resistant.
Moreover, because of the presence of the support means 8 of the duct 5 on the base 2, this device makes it possible to define precisely and from the origin of the laying, the external extension dimension of said duct 5. On Thus, it does not encounter the random external dimension problems of conventional prior art fixtures, in which the different sections of ducts are assembled from the bottom upwards, starting from the heater. It also eliminates the problems of random tightness of these previous fixtures related to the installation on the site of the frustoconical flange and flashing.
