The invention relates to a 3-axis accessory positioning system and to a laser focusing head equipped with such a system, as well as to its use in laser welding, marking or cutting. Laser beam working methods, such as laser welding, marking or cutting, and more particularly laser welding, often require the positioning of additional accessories or components in the environment close to the focusing head. These accessories, devices or additional components may be gaseous protection means, such as a nozzle delivering a gas or gaseous mixture for protecting the welded zone; an electric arc torch, such as a TIG, MIG / MAG or plasma torch used in combination with the laser to implement a hybrid laser-arc welding process for example; means for supplying cold or hot wire for soldering or laser welding with filler wire; or any other accessory, device or component necessary, indispensable or useful for the smooth running of the laser beam operation. Today, the positioning of this type of accessory, device or additional component on a laser focusing head is rudimentary. Indeed, the attachment of such an accessory on a focusing head and its adjustment in position are conventionally made by superimposing standard translation slides commercially available or by using analog positioning systems which are all more or less precise, bulky, complicated implementation or adjustment ... In all cases, the existing systems significantly increase the size around the focusing head and none of these existing systems is equipped with locking to ensure a maintenance in the correct position of the different elements making up the positioning system. The problem is therefore to propose an accessory positioning system for an improved laser focusing head compared to existing systems, in particular which is of simple and compact design, which allows precise and three-dimensional positioning along the X, Y and Z axes. an accessory with respect to the laser head and with minimal space and effective maintenance in the desired position, and a laser focusing head equipped with such a system. The accessory positioning system according to the invention must also be able to adapt to all laser focusing heads that accept a laser wavelength of 300 to 15000 nm, continuously or pulsed. The solution of the invention is a positioning system along a plurality of perpendicular axes (X, Y, Z) comprising a three-piece monoblock structure comprising a first element, a second element and a third element, the second element being arranged between the first and second elements. element and third element, the first element being movable in translation along a second axis (Y axis) relative to the second element, and the second element being movable in translation along a third axis (Z axis) relative to the third element, said third axis ( Z axis) being perpendicular to the second axis (Y axis). Depending on the case, the positioning system of the invention may comprise one or more of the following features: the first element, the second element and / or the third element comprise guiding means making it possible to move in translation. , especially by sliding elements relative to each other, preferably the guide means comprise one or slides. - The first element, the second element and the third element comprise fixing means for securing said elements relative to each other. the fastening means comprise screws cooperating with openings each having an oblong shape oriented along one of said second and third axes (Y, Z) so as to fasten the elements to each other and to limit the stroke of said elements when of their movements in translation. the first element and / or the second element comprise adjustment means making it possible to control the movement in translation along the second axis (Y axis) of said first element relative to the second element, or the third element and / or the second element comprise adjusting means for controlling the displacement in translation along the third axis (Z axis) of said third element relative to the second element. the adjustment means comprise an adjusting screw cooperating with a housing. the first, the second and / or the third elements comprise locking means making it possible to block one or the other of at least two of said elements in a desired position. the adjustment means comprise a locking screw. The invention also relates to an assembly comprising a laser focusing head and a positioning system according to a plurality of perpendicular axes (X, Y, Z), characterized in that said laser focusing head is fixed to a positioning system according to the invention. invention through the first element, said first element being movable in translation along a first axis (X axis) relative to said laser focusing head. As the case may be, the assembly of the invention may comprise one or more of the following features: the first element and the laser focusing head comprise guiding means making it possible to move in translation, in particular by sliding of the first element relative to the focusing head, preferably the guide means comprise one or more slides. the first element and the laser focusing head comprise first adjustment means making it possible to control the movement in translation along the first axis (X axis) of said first element relative to the focusing head, preferably means of adjustment comprise a screw adjustment cooperating with a threaded housing. the first and / or the laser focusing head comprise locking means for blocking said first element, in a desired position, with respect to said laser focusing head. it furthermore comprises an additional device fixed to the third element of the system. Furthermore, the invention also relates to a laser working installation comprising a laser source connected and an assembly with laser focusing head and positioning system according to the invention, preferably the laser source is a YAG laser generator, disks or fiber, and a laser beam welding process or laser-arc hybrid welding using such an installation or a method of welding, cutting or laser marking using such an installation. The present invention will now be better understood thanks to the following description which is made with reference to the appended figures in which: FIG. 1 is a block diagram of a laser focusing head, FIG. 2 is an isolated view of multi-axis positioning system according to the present invention, - Figure 3 is a diagram of the connection mechanism and relative displacement of the first element relative to the second element of the positioning system of Figure 2, - and Figure 4 is a view enlarged part of Figure 3.
Figure 1 is a block diagram of a laser focusing head. Such a head comprises a main body provided with an input 31 for the incident laser beam coming from the laser source, for example a YAG or fiber laser generator, in particular with ytterbium, niobium or erbium fibers. , of power typically between 1 and 15 kW, and an output 32 for the focused laser beam. The focusing of the laser beam is done in a manner known per se, inside the body 30 by means of focusing optics, in particular one or more lenses or mirrors. The body 30 comprises a zone 33 adapted and designed to allow attachment to said body 30 of a positioning system with several perpendicular axes (X, Y, Z) according to the present invention.
More specifically, Figure 2 shows schematically an embodiment of such a positioning system with several perpendicular axes (X, Y, Z) according to the present invention. This system comprises a monobloc and compact structure formed of three elements 1 to 3 main, namely a first element 1 intended to be fixed movably to the region 33 of the focusing head of Figure 1, a second element taken into consideration. sandwiching between the first element 1 and a third element 3 on which is fixed an additional device of the focusing head, for example gaseous protection means, such as a nozzle for delivering a gas or gaseous mixture of protection of the welded zone; an electric arc torch, such as a TIG, MIG / MAG or plasma torch used in combination with the laser to implement a hybrid laser-arc welding process for example; wire feeding means for brazing or laser welding with filler wire; or any other accessory, device or component necessary, indispensable or useful for the smooth running of the laser beam operation. The first element 1 is movable in translation, on the one hand, along a first axis, for example the X axis, relative to the main body 30 of the focusing head and, on the other hand, along a second axis, for example the axis Y, relative to the second element 2, the first axis X being perpendicular to the second axis Y. Similarly, the second element 2 is movable in translation along a third axis, for example the axis Z, relative to the third element 3, the third axis Z being perpendicular to the first X and second Y axis so as to constitute a system with 3 axes (X, Y, Z) displacement. In order to ensure the displacement of the various elements relative to each other and, in addition to the focusing head, the first element 1, the second element 2, the third element 3 and / or the body 33 of the head focusing devices are provided with guiding means for translational movement, in particular sliding, of the elements 1, 2, 3 relative to one another or relative to the head 30. Preferably, the guiding means comprise one or more slides. In the context of the present invention, any slide-type mechanism may be suitable as long as it provides for sliding or translation of an element with respect to another element or, as the case may be, with respect to the head of focus. By way of example, the slideway may be formed by a simple rectilinear groove, such as a housing or a recess, formed in one of the elements 1, 2, 3 or in the body 33 cooperating with a projecting portion arranged in a other element or, where appropriate in the body 33, so as to obtain a displacement in rectilinear translation of said part within said groove. The different ways of making a slide are well known to those skilled in the art. Although it is possible to produce slides also providing a fastening function, such as dovetail or slide-type slide rails, in the context of the present invention, for the sake of simplification, it is preferentially provided the partial connection, because mobile in relative translation, of the first, second and third elements 1, 2, 3 to each other, and that of the first element 1 to the focusing head 30 by means of dedicated fixing means.
FIG. 3 schematically shows a sliding mechanism that can be used in the context of the present invention to connect the different elements 1, 2, 3 to one another and to the focusing head while ensuring a relative displacement of these components in translation or sliding relative to each other so shape the desired 3-axis system X, Y, Z. As can be seen in this FIG. 3, the means ensuring the displacement of the first element 1 with respect to the second element 2 are described in detail. More precisely, the translational movement, that is to say the displacement in approach or in removal of the second element 2 relative to the first element 1 is obtained by means of a slide formed of a groove 5 formed in the second element 2 and slides on an expansion 6 in the width carried by the first element 1 forming a right angle with the body of the first element 1 which is connected to the focusing head. Furthermore, fixing means are also provided, for example one or more screws 9, bolts or the like cooperating with openings 10 having oblong shapes oriented here along the axis of the slide 5, 6, serving to maintain the elements 1, 2 in the desired position, that is to say in contact with one another, without however preventing the displacement in translation of the element 1 in the slideway 5, 6. The dimension of the oblong openings 10 is preferably chosen so as to correspond to the stroke of the element 1 during its displacement in translation. Indeed, as can easily be understood in view of Figure 3, the translational stroke of each screw 9 relative to each opening 10 is limited by the size of the opening 10 itself since each screw 9 abuts to one or the other of the ends of the opening 10 in which it is inserted, after a displacement over a given maximum distance of the element 1 within the slide 5, 6. The screws 9 and openings 10 therefore allow to secure the elements 1, 2 sufficiently to ensure integral support of these two elements 1, 2 to each other to form a compact block but while also allowing a relative movement of these elements 1, 2 relative to each other. In addition, in order to make it possible to adjust or precisely adjust the displacement in translation of these two elements 1, 2 relative to each other, adjustment means 11, 12 are provided with a set screw 11 passing through the wall of the first element 1 and cooperating with a housing 12 with internal thread, formed in the wall of the second element 2. Thus, a tightening of the screw 11 brings the first element 1 of the second element 2 closer together, while at the Inversely, unscrewing of the screw 11 causes the first element 1 of the second element 2 to move away, that is to say sliding towards or away from the axis Y within the slideway 5, 6. there is also provided blocking means 7, 8 for blocking the two of said elements 1, 2 in a desired position when the adjustment of the position along the Y axis has been operated, by actuation of the screw 11, as explained above. In the present case, the locking means comprise a locking screw 7 also passing through the wall of the first element 1 and cooperating with another housing 8 formed in the wall of the second element 2. In other words, the slides 5 , 6 are held by screws 9 allowing displacement in limited translation by an oblong opening 10. The adjustment screw 11 makes it possible to adjust the position in translation of the elements 1, 2 relative to each other ; this screw 11 can be held captive by a counter-screw 15. It should be noted that the connections of the first element 1 to the body 33 of the laser head, and that of the second element 2 to the third element 3 are exactly according to the same principle. In general, the system of the invention allows a three-dimensional positioning along 3 perpendicular axes X, Y and Z with minimal space and can therefore be easily integrated with a laser focusing head. This positioning system therefore consists of three crossed slides nested between them, carried by the elements 1, 2, and 3 and mounted directly on the focusing head, that is to say the optical block of the laser installation. This system makes it possible to precisely adjust and lock in position any auxiliary equipment of the laser. As illustrated in FIG. 4, once the slide 5, 6 in the desired position, that is to say the elements 1 and 2 in the desired translational position, a locking cam 14 that can equip the system allows the blocking of any movement of translation in the slides. Each axis of displacement thus corresponds to a locking cam 14. In order to improve the effect of the locking cam 14, it is preferable for it to press against a rubber-like coating plate 15 arranged in each housing 8.
