Abstract
Description
Semelle pour chaussures et chaussures Sole for shoes and shoes
The present invention relates to soles for shoes and shoes with such soles. We have known for 30 years, especially in China, children's shoes with a whistle in the sole. The latter has a pocket of air compressible by the weight of the child when walking. The weight of the body expels the air contained in the air pocket by the whistle, and the result is the emission of a sound. Such children's shoes are for example marketed by the company Kid Squeakers, or by Squeaker Sneakers under the name Squeaker Sneakers. Regardless of the fun aspect, such a device allows for example the parents to know where the child is or if he moves away from them. But in many cases, the child is only trampling near his guardians, parents or others, and quickly the squeaks of shoes end up annoying. The child's shoes must be removed to stop the noise. It is therefore necessary to change his shoes depending on where you are, or leave it barefoot. In fact, the vast majority of the time, the activation of the whistle is not necessary. This situation is not satisfactory. It would therefore be desirable to have shoes that allow at will to emit a sound or not. Moreover, the sound environment may vary. The sound environment of a hypermarket is not the sound environment of a quiet apartment. It would therefore also be desirable to be able to modulate the sound power. Furthermore, it would also be desirable to be able to modulate the tone of the sound, for example to distinguish children without changing the sound-emitting device. The applicant has had the idea of inactivating the emission of a sound and in particular has developed a simple system to manufacture and use giving full satisfaction, allowing in some versions to modulate the sound power and / or modulate the tone of the sound emitted. This is why the present application relates to a shoe sole in which is inserted an open whistle to the outside, emitting a sound when walking by expulsion of the air contained in a pocket, characterized in that it includes a reversible system of inactivation of the emission of a sound. In the present application and in what follows, the term "whistle" means a device emitting a sound activated by an air flow. Generally the sound is produced by a mechanism of induction of air by a bevel. The term "reversible" means that the system for inactivating the emission of a sound can be activated or deactivated several times as desired, by simple manipulation. The system for inactivating the emission of a sound by the whistle can be based in particular on the at least partial diversion of sound crossing the whistle. One can then for example provide a second air evacuation channel contained in the air bag, clogged when the sound is activated and released when you want to turn off the sound. The whistle then corresponds to a first air evacuation channel. Thus the air or a sufficient part of the air no longer crosses the whistle and no sound, or a weak sound, is emitted. The system of inactivation of the emission of a sound by the whistle is based particularly on the closure of the whistle. The capping device can be installed at the whistle entrance. Under preferred conditions of implementation of the invention, the closure device is installed at the exit of the whistle.
The closure device can be made in different forms. It may be a plug of the shape of those used for example for a bottle (cork or plastic) or to seal the inflatable objects. Under preferred conditions of implementation of the invention, the closure device comprises a sliding tab, for example sliding in a slide. The sliding leg then partially or completely close the exit whistle. The sliding lug comprises, for example, a protuberance accessible from the outside, enabling it to be activated, for example by pinching the protuberance between the fingers and carrying out a translational movement. It preferably comprises a striated or ribbed zone (thus multiple protuberances) accessible from the outside, more solid and more difficult to handle by a child. The closure device comprises in particular an insert consisting of a frame provided with a slide system comprising the sliding tab.
The general dimensions of an insert are for example, when the sole is viewed from the side, 10 mm long and 8 mm wide approximately. The length can range from 20 mm to 8 mm, advantageously from 16 mm to 9 mm, preferably from 12 mm to 9 mm. The width may range from 15 mm to 6 mm, advantageously from 12 mm to 7 mm, preferably from 10 mm to 7 mm. All ranges of values can be combined with one another, but preferably the length is 12 mm to 9 mm and the width is 10 mm to 7 mm. It is also possible to provide a perforated disc. When a perforation is in the continuity of the whistle, it is active. When the full part of the disc closes the whistle, no sound can be heard. For example, two perforations of different surfaces can be provided to obtain two different sound powers or two different sound tones, or both effects. The disk can also be advantageously provided with a protuberance. Like the sliding tab, the disc preferably includes a protrusion to be manipulated. A circular groove can then serve as a slide. The disk may also comprise a central shaft provided with a collar cooperating with a circular groove allowing its rotation to close the whistle. The diameter of the disc may range from 8 mm to 14 mm, preferably from 9 mm to 12 mm, preferably from 10 mm to 12 mm.
When using a sliding tab, the slide can be made in one piece with the sole. In preferred conditions of implementation, an insert which is fixed in a suitable cavity, preferably provided towards the heel of the sole, comprises the sliding lug and the slide. The insert is bonded or heat sealed to the sole. Also the whistle may be a separate piece of an insert or preferably be one piece therewith. It may be, especially in the latter case, provided with harpoon hooks for an additional security installation against pulling. An insert may be made of various materials, especially polymers, polypropylene for example, and in particular high density polyethylene or low density polyethylene. A soleplate may be made of rubber for example and in particular elastomer or rubber. The devices according to the invention can be manufactured by conventional techniques.
The present application also relates to a method of manufacturing a sole above having an insert, characterized in that one installs in a cavity provided for this purpose in a sole, an insert comprising a whistle, and preferably a slide and a sliding tab and advantageously fixes the insert to the sole. The soles above can fit all kinds of shoes: sandals, lace-up shoes, boots, slippers and others. This is why the present application also relates to shoes especially for children (French sizes less than 35, especially less than 32, especially less than 30, especially less than 28) provided with such soles. The shoes and soles object of the present invention have very interesting qualities. They allow in particular to suppress the sound emitted by the shoes when walking or to modulate its level or its sounds. The shoes according to the invention are particularly used as follows in the case of a slide or a disc: if one wants a maximum sound, the device is adjusted so that the expulsion of air by the device meets no obstacle. If you want a mid-level sound, it partially closes the air expulsion port. If you want to remove the sound, it closes almost completely or completely the air expulsion orifice. The present application finally relates to a method for modulating the sound power or tone of the sound emitted by a shoe into which an open whistle is inserted, emitting a sound when walking by expelling the air contained in a pocket, characterized in that there is provided a sole comprising a reversible system for inactivating the sound emission as defined above, and in that at least partially inactivates the sound emission. The preferred conditions of implementation of the soles described above also apply to the other objects of the invention referred to above, especially to shoes with such soles.

The invention will be better understood with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: - Figure 1 shows a side view of a sole portion comprising an insert; - Figure 2 shows a side view of a sole according to the invention and the cavity provided for the installation of an insert and the whistle; FIG. 3 represents a cross-sectional view of FIG. 2 along E-E; - Figure 4 shows a perspective view of an insert and a whistle separately; FIGS. 5 and 6 show schematically, seen from above or from below, a closure device according to the invention in the open position (FIG. 5) and closed (FIG. 6); FIGS. 7 and 8 are side views analogous to those of FIGS. 5 and 6; FIG. 9 is a perspective view of a variant of the device of FIG. 4. FIG. a sole 1. The top of the sole 1, which will be attached the footwear, is shown at the top, and the bottom of the sole, intended to be in contact with the ground at the bottom of the drawing. The latter comprises laterally a rectangular opening 2 making it possible to see elements of an insert 3 on the left. A tab 4 can be distinguished in the form of a plate provided with a pin-shaped protuberance 5 installed perpendicular to the tab 4. On the right of the opening there is a channel 6 of circular cross section, comprising a cylindrical whistle 7 installed perpendicular to the tab 4 and open towards the outside of the sole.
In dashed lines are represented the outer limits of the insert 3 in the plane of the tab 4. This is the sole itself which guides the tab 4. In FIG. 2, the opening 2 of FIG. a cavity 8 provided for the installation of an insert 3. There is also the channel 6 provided to receive a whistle 7 not shown.
In FIG. 3, the cavity 8 in question is clearly distinguished. Figure 4 shows a preferred embodiment of the invention. It represents an insert 3 comprising three parts. The cylindrical whistle 7 is shown separately for a good understanding. It adapts to an insert frame 9 comprising a system of slides 10b and 10h, of which it is integral. In this system, a rectangular tab 4 can move in translation, from left to right and vice versa in the figure. The pin 5 can be clamped between the fingers to operate the tab 4 to close the opening of the whistle 7. In cross section, the frame 9 insert has a general shape of "C" as seen on the right of the drawing. Such an insert can be installed in a cavity 8 in force, or be glued or welded to prevent a child from swallowing the room, or installed in force and glued or welded. In FIGS. 5, 6, 7 and 8, it is possible to observe the displacements of the closure tab 4 to block or open the whistle 7. In FIG. 9, the same elements can be distinguished as in FIG. nipple has been replaced by a striated thickening 5 that can be moved with the help of a fingernail, for example. Moreover, the whistle 7 is made in one piece with the insert frame 9. It is provided with hooks 11 forming a harpoon for irreversibly locking. The devices of FIG. 4 and FIG. 9 can be glued into the cavity 8.
