The construction of this technological marvel in Egypt which is Lake Nasser, allowed this country, to leave the prehistory by producing an electrical energy completely covering these needs. Personally, being in possession of a degree in Electrotechnics I am competent in the matter to say, that this work, for its size and the power produced is worthy of the pharaohs. But, yes, there is a size but since the enthusiasm of the first years of its construction woke up a wonderful dream to plunge into an ecological disaster without precedent. Let me explain: Egypt's economy is based entirely on agriculture and tourism, thanks to its grandiose past. But agriculture being his main udder I say was until now this manna is dried up because of the pollution produced by chemical fertilizers that Egypt has to buy and import from abroad to replace the silt; natural fertilizer, gift of the sky, which mixed with the waters descending from the heights of Ethiopia is blocked by the dam for fifty years, lies at the bottom of the lake itself and one day if nothing is done, will be saturated. The replacement of the silt with chemical fertilizer has caused the proliferation of aquatic plants that are preventing more and more navigation and causing the death of fish. The chemical fertilizer has also caused the death of agriculture in its entirety, but if we think about it, the disadvantages of a first time, due to the dam that prevents the flow of silt downstream, fertilize the delta, it settles at the bottom of the lake creating a fertilizer deposit that I estimate will be a gold mine and it does not require that it be extracted for use at any time. If this wealth (the silt) will have followed its natural course without the dam, will be finished on the lands of the delta spreading but not all, since a large part of the current of the Nile would have led to the Mediterranean Sea, and therefore lost forever, something that thanks to the dike the entire silt that descends from the mountains of Ethiopia to the rainy season is captured and precipitated to the bottom of the lake. This manna that lies at the bottom of the lake, the stock, is renewed all the years naturally and, important thing in my opinion there would be no waste and not dependent on the athmospheric time or the seasons and can pump it or the extract at any time of the year.

At this point I begin the patent which will protect me and which consists in the installation of the tools and the machines necessary for the work, that is to say, the cleaning up of the Nile Delta, polluted by the chemical fertilizers. In my opinion, there are two possible methods to solve the problem. The method I will name A and method B.

Method A consists in the installation of a floating platform A on the lake on which an electric motor pump 40 will preferably be installed, to avoid any possible pollution and a dredging system. The motor pump will be used in the case, that the silt which lies at the bottom of the lake would be liquid enough to be able to suck it by means of pipes, on the other hand if the silt which lies for fifty years at the bottom is too concentrated one would be used dredging to bring it to the surface. Method A 45 consists of recovering silt from the lake, pumping it, and transporting it by a barge C on the shore into a tank and repacked into a pipeline (not shown in the drawing) that bypasses the dike and projects it to the bottom of the dam, mixing it with water, which has been used in the penstocks turbine. We will thus have reconstituted an original water arriving upstream of the lake. Naturally the liquid would flow into the Nile Delta to be pumped through electric pumps. These electropumps are necessary since the flow of the Nile would be insufficient to overcome the cleavages and create a mini fertilizing flood. We must think that we do not have to flood the lands that are polluted by the chemical fertilizers previously and let it rest for a few years. It is better to flood new virgin lands and recover the old ones in a second time. (I forgot to say that all the Nile Delta must be electrified). Do not forget that there is Sinai next door and there is plenty of land.

60 Method B unlike method A is in the consistency of the silt, that is to say, if this material is in a state of mud, it can only be dredged and transported only in barges C from the deck to the deck. shore of the lake and pour it into a tank and liquefy it and follow the route of method A to the identical. The choice of method A 65 or B will be given by experience.

The conclusion is the total sanitation of the Nile conquering new surfaces in Sinai; for agricultural and livestock farming, fish farming, canning factories; a real explosion of production thanks to electrification. Success is certain since there are all the elements. : 70 water, sun, soil, electrical energy, silt, manpower. Egypt lacks oil but has an asset unlike the oil of neighbors who dries up, owns the Nile which is eternal. Egypt will be the orchard, vegetable garden, will have breeding and well being, is at hand.
