The present invention relates to a stand support comprising means for removably securing orthopedic stands. Disabled or injured people who need crutches to walk should find a place to store crutches when they do not need them. The users improvise according to the places to place their crutches, for example on the ground, against a corner of a wall, a chair, etc. Most of the existing devices consist of a support placed on the stand itself, which is attached to the crutch unfolds to form a support, these devices have the disadvantage of making crutches heavy and unwieldy. There are also devices as disclosed for example in GB 2 431 088, for placing crutches against the wall, consisting of a curved arm fixed horizontally against a wall against which the user places his crutches. These devices have the disadvantage of not holding the crutches, placed in bulk, in a position that allows the user to easily recover the crutches can fall when the user retrieves them. Thus, the present invention proposes to solve the aforementioned drawbacks using simple, reliable, easy to implement and inexpensive means. Its purpose is to present a crutches support having means for releasably securing the crutches in a vertical position and separately from one another and will allow the user to easily retrieve them. Thus, the support for crutches of the invention is characterized in that it consists of a main arm carrying support means for crutch to hold the crutches in a vertical position along the axis, said means being constituted by less an elastic jaw clamp, while the main arm, carries at each of its ends an elastic jaw clamp.
According to a complementary feature, the main arm is U-shaped and each of the elastic jaw clamps (3a, 3b) is located in the curved zones of the U-shape. According to another complementary feature, each elastic jaw clamp is constituted by at least one portion of cylindrical wall open towards the front, allowing the introduction of crutch and whose axis extends vertically relative to the ground. Add that the support has fixing means for fixing it to a wall, and that the main arm is carried by a base to move away from the wall. Note also that the base is constituted by a secondary arm substantially perpendicular to the main arm and a fixing plate having fastening means for fixing the stand support on a wall. According to another complementary feature, the base comprises fastening means for fixing it to a wall, these means being constituted for example by screws. Note also that according to a preferred embodiment, the main arm is U-shaped whose ends comprise fixing means for fixing the device against the wall. According to another variant, the main arm is carried by a secondary arm, substantially perpendicular to said main arm and said secondary arm carrying fastening means for fixing it to a tube, while said fixing means are made by an orifice in 25 secondary arm allowing the passage of a profile whose locking in position is constituted by a locking screw, and that the secondary arm is extended by a handle. Other features and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the description which follows with reference to the accompanying drawings which are given by way of non-limiting examples.
Figures 1 to 3 illustrate a first embodiment of the support for crutches of the invention. Figure 1 shows the stand support in the use position.
Figure 3 shows the first embodiment of the support crutches. Figures 4 and 5 respectively show a front perspective 10 and rear a second embodiment of the support crutches. Figure 6 shows in perspective before a third embodiment of the support crutches. According to the first preferred embodiment of the invention, the support of crutches (1) comprises a main transverse arm (2), 15 carrying at its ends retaining means (MR) for crutch (100) for holding the crutches in a vertical position. Said means being constituted by at least one elastic jaw clamp (3a, 3b), they allow the introduction, the maintenance and the extraction of the tubular part of the crutches. Each resilient clamp (3a, 3b) consists of a cylindrical wall portion (4a, 4b) open forwards, parallel to the axis (X-X ') extending vertically with respect to the ground. The clamp (3a, 3b) of the invention is advantageously made of plastic, but could be made of metal or any other material, without departing from the scope of the invention. The main arm (2), carrying the clamps (3a, 3b) with elastic jaws, extends horizontally along the axis (Y-Y ') and advantageously perpendicularly to the vertical axis (X-X') of the pliers. According to this first embodiment of the invention, the support for crutches (1) comprises a base (5) consisting of a spacer (6) 30 carried by a fixing plate (7). Said plate (7) comprises means (MF) for fixing against for example a wall (200) or a wall, these means are advantageously constituted by through holes (8) made in the plate. For this purpose the latter has two holes (8), but may include one or more. Said plate (7) can be of any shape without departing from the scope of the invention. The spacer (6) is fixed removably or not to the plate (7) for fixing. According to the preferred embodiment of the invention, the spacer (6) is fixed irremovably or removably to the plate (7) for wall mounting. The spacer (6) is advantageously of parallelepipedal shape, but can be of any shape such as cylindrical. Preferably, the plate (7), the spacer (6), the main arm (2) and the resilient clamps (3a, 3b) constitute a single piece made for example of plastic. However, to facilitate its manufacture, the stand support and constituted by two parts (21a, 21b) separated and assembled in the horizontal plane of symmetry (Ph) (as shown in Figure 2) which will be assembled by means of screws (13). The main arm (2) is advantageously positioned perpendicular to the spacer (6) so as to be positioned parallel to the wall (200), once the support (1) of the invention attached to the wall. The main arm (2) is preferably of parallelepiped shape, but can be of any shape without departing from the scope of the invention. Also, according to this embodiment, said main arm (2) is U-shaped, the clamps (3a, 3b) being positioned in the curved end regions (ZC) of the U-shape.
However, the clamps (3a, 3b) can be positioned anywhere on the main arm (2), without impairing the operation or outside the scope of the invention. According to a not shown variant of the first embodiment, said main arm and the base comprise corresponding removable fastening means for separating the main arm (2) from the base (5). These removable fastening means disposed on the base are formed by a projection located at one end of the parallelepiped forming the spacer. This projection corresponds with a hole made on the main arm. Said projection has a corresponding shape with the hole made on the main arm. The main arm has means for retaining the projection in the hole on the main arm. These means consist of a screw passing through the main arm through a hole made along a vertical axis and a hole made on the projection along the same vertical axis. However, in another variant, the projection is on the main arm and the hole on the base. According to a second embodiment of the invention, as represented by FIGS. 4 and 5, the stand support (1) consists of a U-shaped main arm (2) whose ends (2a, 2b) comprise fixing means (MF) of the support (1) against the wall. The clamps (3a, 3b) are located in curved (C) areas of the U-shape, but may also be located on any portion of said main arm (2). Said support (1) constituted by a main arm (2) is advantageously made in one piece. The fastening means are located on the end walls (20a, 20b) of the U-shaped arm and made by holes. The main arm (2) is advantageously made of plastic, is a hollow body open down (BA), but can also be achieved by any means, without departing from the scope of the invention.
According to a third embodiment, as illustrated in FIG. 6, the stand support (1) is designed so that it can be placed on the mat of an infusion holder (30) or any other material medical. Thus, said bracket (1) for stand consists of a main arm (2) maintained by a secondary arm (9) itself equipped with removable fastening means (MFA) for securing it to a mat and a handle (10). The main arm (2) carries two elastic clamps (3a, 3b), advantageously arranged on the ends of said arm, or, arranged in the case of a U-shaped arm, in the curved areas of the U-shape. the tongs (3a, 3b) can be arranged anywhere on the main arm (2). The secondary arm (9) is fixed perpendicularly along the axis (Z-Z ') to the main arm (2) equidistant from the opposite ends of the main arm.
The removable fastening means (MFA) are preferably made on the secondary arm (9), but can also be positioned on the main arm without departing from the scope of the invention. These means consist of an orifice (11) in which a mat can be inserted and held in position by means of a locking screw (12). The orifice (11) is advantageously of shape and dimension corresponding to the tube (30) constituting the infusion door, but can also be of all shapes and sizes without departing from the scope of the invention. According to another characteristic of the third embodiment of the invention, a handle (10) is formed on the secondary arm (9) allowing the user to hold the infusion holder provided with the stand support of the invention when remove or place the crutches (100) on their support (1). In addition, the wall fixing screws can be hidden by a clipped cover, thus improving the aesthetics of the support.
