Abstract

The sliding bolt comprises a detent (40) to maintain the compressed springs in an unlocked position. The detent is released by end-of-travel positioning of the cable end in the opening, where the opening has a circular inner contour centered on an axis of a sliding cable (8), where the cable end is adjusted inside the cable. The bolt is fixed between two side arms. An axial guiding unit has axial slots (44) and guides the detent. An independent claim is also included for a transmission control of a motor vehicle, comprising a cable.
