The present invention relates to a suction nozzle adapted to the field of odontology and oral care. Such a tip fits on the free end of a saliva pump to be connected to the suction device fitted to a dental chair. Dentists traditionally use in the mouth, in addition to the actual working instrument (turbine, manual instrument, ultrasonic insert ...) a mirror whose function is to remove the soft tissues so as to allow them to have a satisfactory vision of the working area and a saliva pump whose function is to eliminate the fluids and debris generated by the working instrument. Typically, the end of the saliva pumps carries a filter tip equipped with openings with angular edges of relatively large size which allow the suction of fluids and various debris from the milling work, descaling ... Gold , the presence of such a tip night significantly the con-fort of the patient insofar as it can cause small injuries by friction or suction of the mucous membrane of the floor of the mouth, especially at the level of the salivary gland, behind the mandibular incisors. To improve the comfort of the patient, it has also already been proposed to mount, at the end of the saliva pumps, a tip made of an open cell foam. Such an end piece is however not likely to give satisfactory satisfaction, insofar as it deforms during use and furthermore does not allow the suction of debris. The object of the present invention is to propose a suction nozzle of the above-mentioned type which makes it possible to remedy these drawbacks. According to the invention, such a nozzle is characterized in that it consists of a tubular cap having on the one hand an in-dull diameter corresponding to the external diameter of the saliva pump at one of its ends. or first end so as to allow it to fit thereon, and secondly closed at its other end or second end by a rounded partition pierced with a series of small holes uniformly distributed over its surface and delimiting a chamber of suction at its inner part.
This rounded partition allows to remove all the angular parts of the tip and thus to exclude any risk of discomfort or injury to the patient by friction. In addition, small holes that are too thin to suck the mucous membrane of the floor of the patient's mouth can evenly distribute the suction which is more diffuse, without focusing on a small surface quickly dry, so irritated. The suction tip which is the object of the invention is preferably made of a plastic material and is generally for single use. It ensures the comfort of the patient to the extent that aspiration is done by leaving him a pleasant feeling in the mouth throughout the work that can be uninterrupted. In addition, such a suction tip that allows the dentist 15 to work continuously saves time while improving its working comfort. In spite of these certain advantages for both the patient and the practitioner, a tip of this type, in which the small holes are randomly oriented, is not totally satisfactory from an economic point of view. Indeed, the manufacture of such a nozzle is problematic insofar as the presence of a large number of small holes differently oriented makes demolding extremely difficult. According to a preferred feature of the invention, in order to remedy this drawback, the small holes drilled on the area are oriented along at most three different axes. A suction nozzle having such a configuration can in fact be manufactured in a mold whose half-shells are provided with pins adapted to be easily removed from the mold. The characteristics of the suction nozzle which is the subject of the invention will be described in more detail with reference to the accompanying non-limiting drawings in which: FIG. 1 represents a suction nozzle according to the prior art attached to the end of a saliva pump, FIG. 2 shows a suction nozzle according to a first variant of the invention also mounted at the end of a saliva pump,
3 shows the suction nozzle according to the first variant of the invention before it is mounted on the saliva pump. According to FIG. 1, the suction nozzle according to the prior art consists of by a tubular element A equipped at its front end with a series of elongated openings B surrounding a central orifice C. According to FIG. 2, the suction nozzle 1 according to the invention consists of a tubular cap fitted on the free end of a saliva pump 2 and closed at its front end by a rounded partition 3 pierced with a series of small holes 4 uniformly distributed over its surface and randomly oriented. The suction end 1 thus has at its front end a configuration similar to that of a strainer for distributing the suction. The rounded partition 3 delimits at the front end of the suction nozzle 1, downstream of the free end 6 of the saliva pump 2 (FIG. 3), a suction chamber 5 for the fluids and debris generated by the practitioner's work. According to FIG. 3, the suction nozzle 1 has, at its rear end, an internal diameter corresponding to the external diameter of the saliva pump 2 at its free end so as to allow it to be fitted to it. ci in the working position shown in Figure 2. In this position, the suction nozzle 1 is fitted on the saliva pump 2 over a length 1 at its rear end 6 while downstream, the fluids and debris can be sucked by the small holes 4 drilled at the periphery of the suction chamber 5. According to FIG. 4, the suction nozzle 10 according to the preferred variation of the invention consists of a cap tubular fitted on the free end of a saliva pump 20 as shown schematically by the arrows and closed at its front end by a rounded partition 30 pierced with a series of small holes 40. According to Figures 4, 5 and 6, these small holes 40 are orie based on up to three different axes. It should be noted that the number of holes 40, their shape and their size relative to the tip 10 are shown in the figures for information and can not correspond to any limitation of the invention.
4 Par ailleurs, et selon les figures 4 et 6, la zone 50 située à la partie arrière de l'embout 10 au niveau de laquelle vient se brancher la pompe à salive 20 peut avoir une configuration quelconque, notamment être constituée par un pas de vis ou une surépaisseur permettant un bon accrochage de l'embout 10 sur la pompe à salive 20 sans pour cela sortir du cadre de l'invention. lo NOMENCLATURE 4 Furthermore, and according to FIGS. 4 and 6, the zone 50 situated at the rear part of the end piece 10 at which the saliva pump 20 is connected can be of any configuration, in particular be constituted by a step of screw or an allowance for a good attachment of the tip 10 of the saliva pump 20 without departing from the scope of the invention. lo NOMENCLATURE
