Abstract
Procédé de traitement d'une partie métallique soumise à un faisceau d'ions où : - les ions du faisceau sont sélectionnés parmi le bore, le carbone, l'azote, l'oxygène ; - la tension d'accélération des ions, supérieure ou égale à 10 kV, et la puissance du faisceau, comprise entre 1 W et 10 kW, ainsi que la dose d'ions par unité de surface sont choisies sont choisies de manière à permettre l'implantation d'ions dans une zone d'implantation d'épaisseur e , comprise entre 0,05 µm et 5 µm et à permettre la diffusion d'ions dans une zone d'implantation-diffusion d'épaisseur, e + e , comprise entre 0,1 µm et 1000 µm ; - la température, T , de la zone de la partie métallique située sous la zone d'implantation-diffusion est inférieure ou égale à une température seuil T On produit ainsi avantageusement des surfaces métalliques présentant des caractéristiques mécaniques remarquables.
