Abstract

The device has a switch actuated between two positions controlled by a driver of a vehicle (1). An engine (3) is coupled to a gear box (5) i.e. robotized mechanical gear box, with gear ratios. A logic controller (11) in the vehicle processes operating parameters of the gear box. A speed selecting lever (7) comprises a vibrating body controlled by the controller. The vibrating body activates an external gripping surface of the lever to inform the driver about a live situation of the vehicle and/or an action to be undertaken on the gear box by a tactile stimulation with the hand of the driver.
