Abstract

The garment has a maintaining rope (3) made of stainless steel and possessing different lengths, where the garment is made of chain mail fabric. The maintaining rope passes inside two metallic rings (2) of the chain mail fabric in a predefined zone so as to limit an extension of the chain mail fabric to a level and to adjust the garment to a body of a user. The rope has ends inserted in a plastic patch (6) that is fixed to the chain mail fabric. The maintaining rope is threaded in the rings at the level of a belt of the user.

La présente invention a pour objet un vêtement de protection réalisé en un tissu de cotte de mailles. Il est bien connu que certaines professions telles que par exemple la boucherie en gros ou en détail exposent la main d'oeuvre à des risques de coupures pouvant avoir des conséquences extrêmement graves sinon dramatiques, et les bouchers déplorent chaque année au sein de leur corporation un nombre non négligeable d'accidents entraînant une incapacité de travail définitive, voire le décès de leurs victimes. Pour diminuer ce risque, au caractère avant tout professionnel, de nombreux responsables de boucheries industrielles ou artisanales exigent de leur personnel le port permanent de vêtements de protection (gants, tabliers ou chasubles). Les bouchers eux-mêmes sentent de plus en plus l'intérêt d'une telle protection, et un nombre croissant d'entre eux n'envisagerait 15 plus d'entreprendre son travail sans revêtir auparavant un vêtement de protection. Il existe actuellement dans le commerce différents types de gants, de tabliers ou de chasubles de protection qui sont réalisés à partir de plaquettes métalliques articulées ou en un tissu de cotte de mailles. 20 Un tel tissu est en règle générale constitué par l'assemblage d'anneaux métalliques, notamment en acier inoxydable, chaque anneau passant dans les quatre anneaux qui lui sont périphériques. Le vêtement de protection conforme à l'invention peut être quelconque, et en particulier constitué par des gants en tissu de cotte de 20 mailles rigidifiés par un câble de maintien notamment au niveau du poignet de l'utilisateur. Ce vêtement de protection est toutefois avantageusement constitué par un tablier ou une chasuble auquel cas le câble est de préférence enfilé dans les anneaux du tissu de cotte de mailles, au niveau de la 25 ceinture de l'utilisateur de façon à rigidifier ce tissu et à limiter son extension à ce niveau. L'utilisation de câbles de maintien de différentes longueurs permet, à partir d'un même vêtement de base, d'obtenir une gamme de vêtements de tailles différentes adaptés à des utilisateurs de différentes 30 corpulences.
