Abstract

The turf has a synthetic turf base (1) comprising synthetic herb fibers (1b) fixed on a rot-proof support material (1a) and filled by filling material (1c), where the filling material is selected from natural or synthetic sand, pozzolana, incinerator ash or other permeable cultivating material. The turf base is placed on a top of fertile and drained terrain (2) and sown with grains (3) such as bluegrass.

Description

The present invention relates to an improved playing surface comprising a synthetic grass base (1) placed above a soil fertile and drained (2), and filled with a culture material such as natural or synthetic sand, compost , pozzolana, clinker, earth, natural or synthetic rubber. This synthetic surface is then sown (3), with high fescue type seeds, creeping fescue, Ray Grass, bluegrass or any other turfgrass. For the practice of football, rugby, hockey, baseball, golf, etc., conventional natural turf pitches offer a recognized quality of play all the time, however the frequency of the game as well as the bad weather often make dangerous terrain and even sometimes impractical. These soils are often found in muddy ground in autumn and winter, and in summer, a surface crust makes the ground very hard. These lands have a limited playing time that does not satisfy all users. The sports fields whose playing time is not respected or over-crowded areas, we see sodding deplete making the game impractical or poor quality. There is to overcome this the synthetic coatings called artificial turf, or stabilized soils however the playing conditions offered by these coatings are often far from the qualities offered by the natural turf. The present invention aims to achieve a synthetic coating combined with natural grass. For this purpose, a new or recycled synthetic grass (1) is placed parallel to the foundation layer (2). The said synthetic turf is composed of a flexible base of imputrescible material (1 a), in which e: st stitched synthetic fibers (lb) from 3 to 7cm in length resembling. natural grass (3,000 to 15,000 fibers / M2), perpendicular to the base layer (2).

This synthetic turf will either be made for the occasion, or will come from a field of artificial grass disassembled. The rolls or plates are laid against each other, they will be either glued or laid edge to edge in them. The filling (lc) is then ensured by spreading draining culture material such as sand, pozzolan, clinker, it can also incorporate elements such as rubber, peat or loam or any other element facilitating the good development of the turf , and the practice of sport. The filling will be done on a height equal to the height of the fiber (lb) minus 2 to 3.5 cm; in all cases the synthetic fiber will exceed the filling material (1c). The coating is then perforated (ld) with a full or hollow pin aerator. The number of perforations must be sufficient to create a link between the base layer (2) and the top of the ground. This base layer, support layer (2) is composed of a mixture of clay, sand, silt or any other medium known in the creation of sports fields as elaborate substrates composed of pozzolana, clinker or sand. This layer must be sufficient to promote excess water in rainy weather, and must benefit from a watering system for periods of hot weather.

The coating thus laid and filled, can then be sown. The natural grass (3) will develop and its root system (3b) will cross the synthetic grass through the created holes (1d); these roots (3b) will then be put in place in the base layer (2). The present invention therefore consists in reinforcing natural grass pitches with synthetic fiber. If the natural turf comes to wither, then the synthetic fiber takes over. The invention also avoids the intensive compaction of busy areas, thanks to the distribution of the load afforded by the base of the synthetic coating (la.

En conséquence, l'invention n'est pas limitée.25 Reinforced natural turf will be maintained under conditions similar to conventional natural turf, so it can be defeated, decompacted and scarified normally. The present invention also satisfies a disadvantage encountered over a large number of stages, namely tearing of the natural grass in plates due to a high percentage of annual bluegrass. This turf variety has a surface root system that causes scallop tearing due to tackling, scrambling, or other supported crampon support. In the present invention, the annual bluegrass root system will bind to the synthetic turf fibers preventing any significant wrenching. The present invention can be implemented either directly at the project site or prepared in nursery culture. The present invention can be carried out on the entire terrain, or partially on the most stressed areas, or the least well exposed. It may also be envisaged to carry out this process with synthetic fibers of colors other than green in order to facilitate the layout of the game lines. The present invention may be an interesting solution to recycle old synthetic turf fields removed. It is obvious to those skilled in the art that although several embodiments are possible as explained above, many modifications and variations can be provided without departing from the spirit of this invention which is to associate a lawn with synthetic and natural grass. As a result, the invention is not limited.
