Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a rigid ski slope edge protection barrier. It makes it possible to preserve the snowpack in sensitive areas while correcting the slope of the runway, it facilitates the handling of the safety nets fixed to this barrier, so that they keep an effective tension and optimizes the safety of the skiers. The absence of this barrier generally causes an empty space between the base of the safety nets and the track, leaving a free passage under the protective net thus rendering the safety system ineffective in the event of a skier's fall. The absence of this barrier does not allow to store the snow which, as it is pushed to the outside of the track by the passage of skiers, and quickly disappears from the track, causing its premature closure. The absence of the barrier does not allow the trackers to regulate the net tension regularly. In case of snowfall, the fastening system remains buried under the snow, which causes a tension of the fasteners and the net, making it rigid and fragile, canceling the effectiveness of the safety net. The absence of the barrier makes it impossible for tracks that are exposed south-west in the northern hemisphere to keep the snowpack melting rapidly by this exposure. The barrier according to the invention overcomes these disadvantages. It keeps the net at the height of the snowpack. The barrier facilitates the work of the trackers by rapid assembly and disassembly of the lower part of the net on the ground by virtue of its fastening system placed on the outer side of the barrier, and allows an optimal adjustment of the tension of the thread. safety and thus preserves its smooth operation. The barrier allows for permanent snow storage and the maintenance of a constant snow depth during the season, facilitating the work done by the grooming machines and thus keeping good snow conditions on the track. The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention: FIG. 1 is a cross-section of the device of the invention, FIG. 2 shows an internal face of the elements of the invention, FIG. FIG. 4 represents an external face of the device of the invention. With reference to these drawings, the device called rigid barrier track protection has an average useful height of 800mm. Is constituted by a series of posts (1) metal HEA 100, spaced a length equal to the length of a cross (2) wood.
The fixing of the posts (1) in the ground is ensured by the burial of its base, in a volume of concrete of about 50 liters serving as dead body (3) and by an anchoring diameter 25mm (4) of a depth minimum of 1500mm, cement grouted and bolted (5) on a UPN 100mm (6) welded (7) to the post and reinforced by a triangular metal piece (8) with a thickness of 10mm and about 100mm on the side, and forming the bottom rail (6). The two end posts (9) are constituted by a UPN 100mm (10) and two lower UPN 100mm crosspieces (6) welded to the post and reinforced by the metal pieces (8) .These sleepers are fixed to the ground by two anchors (4). Between the posts (1) where (9), come to slide the wooden trays (2) blocked at the base by two abutments (11) round iron diameter 10mm. The wood trays (2) are of a thickness of about 75mm, width 225mm and a maximum length of 4500mm. The wooden trays are fixed to the posts by 6 mm diameter screws (12). The upper part of the barrier is protected by a metal bracket (13) 100x100 mm thickness 10 mm, which will serve as protection for the wooden trays (2) against possible contact with the blade of the groomer. The fastening of the net (17) to the barrier will be done by means of a cable (14) of diameter 10 mm braided in the base of the net, and passing in fast-opening rings of the pigtail type or carabiners (15). ) screwed onto wooden trays on the outside of the track spaced approximately 2500mm apart. The cable is tensioned using a manual winch (16) of the towing winch type.
