Abstract

La présente invention concerne le domaine des radars passifs VHF-UHF. Elle concerne plus particulièrement la réalisation d'antennes VHF-UHF omnidirectionnelles, à large bande passante, pouvant fonctionner en réseau sans altération de leurs diagrammes de rayonnement.L'invention consiste en une structure d'antenne bi-bande, fonctionnant sur deux sous-bandes de fréquences larges, constituée d'éléments rayonnants formant une sous-antenne à diffraction minimale fonctionnant dans la sous-bande haute, UHF, et une sous-antenne à diffraction minimale fonctionnant dans la sous-bande basse, VHF, chaque élément étant mis en service ou hors service séparément en fonction de la sous-bande exploitée. La sortie de l'antenne est reliée à l'entrée d'un amplificateur à faible bruit large bande, placé au plus près et présentant une entrée à haute impédance et une sortie égale à l'impédance de la ligne de transmission par laquelle il est relié au récepteur, la sous-antenne dédié à la sous-bande basse comportant des filtres passe bas agencés pour empêcher le fonctionnement de cet élément lorsque l'élément dédié à la sous-bande haute est en service.
