Abstract

The leaf (2) has an insulation (8) placed between exterior and interior facings (5, 7), where the facing (5) includes an opening (16). A housing (18) is placed at rear of the opening between the facings. A decorating part (20) comprising a non-flat outer surface is placed in the housing so as to close the opening of the facing (5). The decorating part includes an assembling portion (33) extending with respect to an inner surface of the facing (5), where the part is made of thermoformed plastic material, wood or metal. The part is assembled at an inner surface of the facing (5). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a door leaf.
