Abstract
Description
The cushions, foams or rollers of current bodybuilding or reeducation have multiple forms. Some can be used to raise the toes of a few centimeters in kneeling position to practice stretching. But not designed for use at the toe level they often slip, do not adapt to morphologies and do not allow to stretch the toes at the same time. The device according to the invention overcomes these disadvantages. It consists in fact, according to a first characteristic, of two cylindrical elements consisting of foam surface, fabrics, carpet or any other material not causing injury, connected by a wire or any other means to position the two V-shaped parts with variable angle. According to particular embodiments: the V-shape characterizing the device of the invention makes it possible to prevent the roll from rolling. - V shape characterizing the device of the invention allows to select either the big or small toes. - Variable angle V shape allows to work the toes at the same time. - The two elements in contact with the toes and interconnected, called rollers, comprise a fastening system or introduction of the connecting arm which characterizes the device of the innovation and which can be achieved with the aid of simple wire of iron, or use deformable synthetic modern materials or even mechanical hinges surrounded by foam able to give the union of the two elements. - The two elements called rollers may have a shape different from a cylinder from the moment they are connected by a system that allows them to be in the form of V variable angle. - The two elements called rollers may have a smaller size to fit the feet of children. The two elements called rollers may not be identical and have molded shapes to accommodate pathological deformities or anatomical features. - The surface of the two elements called rollers consisting of a non-slip material 5 or slip-resistant, completes the stability of the device. The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention: FIG. 1 represents the device of the invention, from the front. FIG. 2 represents the device of the invention, in profile, in one of its practical uses, here in a forward V position. With reference to these drawings, the device consists of two identical cylindrical elements (1) connected by a wire (2) or any other means for positioning the two V-shaped parts with variable angle (3).
35 10By way of example, the dimensions of the roll presented are approximately 30 centimeters in length and 5 centimeters in thickness. The overall effect of the device is to lift the back of the toes in a subject kneeling on the floor, on all fours, straightened or sitting on his heels by selecting, thanks to the shape of variable V the part of the toe 20 most requested. When the V-roll is placed with the tip towards the user (4), are the big toes that are the most stressed. On the other hand, there are the little toes of which Seme (5). In this V-position with the tip away from the user, there is a particular angle that allows the toes to be all urged (6). The invention therefore relates to a device for softening the toe muscles of both feet at the same time by adapting to variations in morphology. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for gyms 30 and physiotherapy cabinets, rehabilitation institutions and practices of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, but also to the general public in the context of home exercises or sports practices in association. 35 10
