Abstract
Description
30 body in lumbar prevention. Current medical devices intended to prevent back pain are numerous but their mode of action is static and of the order of contention. This is the case of lumbar belts, lombostats and other corsets used effectively in case of fractures, inflammation and mechanical pathology of the column. But if their effectiveness is high in cases of posterior articular hyperpressure with osteoarthritis, isthmic lysis or spondylolysthesis, they have, except the lumbar corset which solidarises the lumbar spine with a thigh, little effectiveness in case of disc problem because they do not limit that very little the risks of anterior hyperpressure caused during a bending movement, that is to say by leaning forward. Moreover, if in therapeutic pedagogy, in medical consultation or in the schools of the back, it is asked the patients to privilege the bending in the hips, back right, the practical realization of this maneuver is not of easy access for many. Therefore, a simple device is needed to warn the user of a flexion movement at the level of his lumbar sacral column, ie the lower back, as part of the prevention of herniated discs or their recurrences The device according to the invention makes it possible to remedy this deficiency. It is constituted in fact, according to a first feature, a flat and flexible pouch glued to the skin of the user at the top of the lumbar spine that can contain a small flat sound device battery, whose switch tab is connected by a string and an elastic to a pellet also stuck to the skin, just below the lumbar spine, the elastic thread already under slight tension so that as soon as the distance of the 2 glued elements, caused by the lumbar flexion has exceeded some limited moonlight, the switch tab will be pulled and will sound the warning sound. According to particular embodiments - the modification of length of the string, by a simple node or a passage in a slit loop allows trimming of the triggering of the alarm. - A preliminary test can reduce for example the length of the string if the alarm is triggered too quickly, and vice versa. -2- - the union by a string and an elastic of the tongue of the switch of a sound detector adhering to the skin at a remotely located pellet allows the triggering of the sound device when the two elements move away, this which is the case in the lumbar spine passing from the right back to the round back - the alarm device can trigger a simple alarm sound or even a sound message, or even a sound message that will prevent several degrees of tension, weak, medium strong which corresponds to the increase of the flexion of the lumbar sacral column. the two flat elements, namely the pouch containing the alarm device and the tablet may be made of fabric, plastic or any other soft material that is pleasant and non-harmful to the skin and may adhere to the skin thanks to a adhesive film, a special glue spray or any other non-injurious means. - The use of this device in other parts of the body allows other prevention exercises - adaptations such as: for the control of cervical flexion in the neck, a cap or a headband that avoids hair, or, for the control of the abdominal region, a circular belt at the sternum and an inextensible string-like strapping for fixation opposite the pubis, allows to circumvent the gluing problems in this region. - Fixing the sound device on a support other than the pouch containing it can facilitate the change of battery. - The elastic can be connected to 2 pieces of string, one of which has a fixed length and the other an adjustable length. The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention: FIG. 1 represents the device of the invention, from the front. Figure 2 shows the device of the invention, in profile, in one of its practical uses, here for the control of lumbar flexion. Figure 3 shows the device of the invention, in profile, in one of its practical uses, here for the control of cervical flexion. Figure 4 shows the device of the invention, in profile, in one of its practical uses, here for the control of abdominal contraction. With reference to these drawings, the device consists of a small flat sound device (1) with flat battery (2) contained in a flat pocket (3) of a few centimeters in size, the switch (4) is connected by a twine (5) which includes an elastic element (6) to the self-locking ring (7) of a pellet (8) of a few centimeters. When the two flat elements are glued at the area to be controlled, that is to say one at the top opposite the dorsolumbar junction of the column (8), the other at the bottom facing the sacrum (9) , and once the adjustment of the tension carried out, by adaptation of the length of the string or adequate spacing of the two parts, the audible alarm will be triggered as soon as the removal of the 2 glued elements, caused by the lumbosacral flexion (10) will have exceeded the limit set by the therapist or accompanist. The overall effect of the device is to trigger an alarm sound signal when the two pieces stuck to the skin are spaced a distance that corresponds to the limit of movement not to exceed. The invention therefore relates to a device for facilitating and guaranteeing the learning of good lumbar prevention and gives the examiner a means of diagnosis and control. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for fitness rooms and physiotherapy cabinets, rehabilitation establishments and practices of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, but also for the general public in the context of home exercises or practices sports association. 30
