Abstract

Le dispositif est doté d'un décalage compris entre 1 millimètre à quelques millimètres sur les côtés les plus longs du corps rectangulaire et occupant une grande partie de la longueur de ce corps rectangulaire et s'interrompant avant l'extrémité de ce même corps rectangulaire, de manière à ce que le curseur plat ne puisse sortir de sa zone de coulissement. Ce curseur plat se présente sous la forme d'une bague plate de faible épaisseur entourant le corps rectangulaire et disposant d'une largeur qui ne pourra au plus excéder que de quelques millimètres la largeur maximale du corps rectangulaire. De ce fait, en positionnant le signet dans la reliure de l'ouvrage, le curseur plat pourra être maintenu temporairement bloqué en regard du passage d'une page tandis que l'utilisateur fait coulisser le corps principal pour en positionner l'extrémité à l'extérieur de l'ouvrage. Il est à noter que le curseur plat n'est pas fermement serré autour du corps principal de manière à pouvoir coulisser aisément. Sur le curseur plat est présent un indicateur à la fois sur la face avant et la face arrière du curseur plat de manière à indiquer avec précision le passage situé sur la page de gauche ou la page droite de l'ouvrage.
