Description

Environmental experts know that water is becoming a scarce commodity, so precious that it is urgent to save money. As a result, various authorities and regulations are asking communities and individuals to do their utmost to store and reuse rainwater.

For this purpose, the roofs of buildings are conventionally equipped at their base with gutters connected to essentially vertical gutter downpipes which feed the tanks for storing rain water. However, the rainwater thus recovered is contaminated by various elements, in particular leaves or mosses entrained during runoff on the roofs, and can not therefore be directly reused. The object of the present invention is to propose a pretreatment device for rainwater flowing in a gutter descent tube of a nature to remedy this drawback. According to the invention, this device is characterized in that it consists of a tubular sleeve having a section a little larger than that of the gutter down tube on which it is intended to be fitted at its upper part, at the level of a cutout of corresponding length of this tube, and enclosing a filter element made in particular in the form of a truss, as well as by elements allowing the adaptation of the tubular sleeve to the gutter down tube at its lower part. . It should be noted that in the context of this disclosure, the adjectives 30 upper and lower must be understood by referring to a tubular sleeve already positioned on a gutter down tube. According to the invention, this positioning must be performed at a height chosen to facilitate access to the tubular sleeve. Indeed, the tubular sleeve must be frequently removed from the gutter down tube and replaced on this tube to per-mow to clean the filter element when it is clogged. According to a preferred characteristic of the invention, the adaptation elements consist: on the one hand by an annular adapter end intended to be fitted on the gutter down tube, at the cutting of this tube and the part bottom of the latter, and secondly by an adapter flange fixed to the lower part 5 of the tubular sleeve and provided with a shoulder made to allow its abutment against the adapter tip. According to the invention, the tubular sleeve may advantageously be made of a transparent material, preferably resistant to UV so as to allow a visual check of the elements accumulated on the filter element. This element can be immediately cleaned if necessary. The characteristics of the device which is the subject of the invention will be described in more detail with reference to the appended non-limiting drawings in which FIGS. 1 to 4 are explanatory diagrams of the different steps of setting up the pre-treatment device on a gutter down tube and disassembly of this device for maintenance. In the figures, the dark arrows correspond to the mounting of the device whereas the clear arrows correspond to the demounting thereof. According to FIGS. 1 to 4, the device is positioned at a cutout 2 of length L of a gutter down tube 1. This device essentially consists of a tubular sleeve 3 made of a UV-resistant transparent material containing at its inner part a filter element 4 made in the form of a crapaudine. The section of the tubular sleeve 3 is slightly greater than that of the gutter down tube 1 so as to allow it to be fitted onto this tube as shown in FIGS. 2, 3 and 4. According to FIG. 2, the tubular sleeve 1 is equipped at its lower end with an adapter flange 5 fixedly secured to the lower part thereof. The flange 5 has a shoulder 6 defining an extension 7 of smaller diameter. According to Figure 3, the device further comprises an adapter tip 8 designed to be able to fit on the gutter down tube 1 at the cutout 2 and the lower part thereof. According to FIG. 1, the first step of setting up the device on the gutter down tube 1 consists in producing on this tube 1, at a height chosen to allow easy access, a cutout 2 of length L corresponding to the length of the tubular sleeve 3. According to FIG. 2, the second step of this process consists of fitting according to the arrow A1 the upper part of the sleeve 3 on the gutter down tube 1 to the upper part of the blank 2 and to slide this sleeve 3 upwards along this tube 1 to the position shown in FIG. 3. According to FIG. 3, the third stage of the process consists in fitting according to the arrow A2 the annular adapter tip 8 on the downcomer tube gutter 1 at the bottom of the blank 2.

Selon la figure 2, la troisième étape de ce processus consiste à enlever le manchon tubulaire 3 selon la flèche B3 pour permettre de le vider et de nettoyer l'élément filtrant 4. 35  According to FIG. 4, the fourth step of the process consists in sliding along the arrow A3 the sleeve 3 downwards until the extension 7 of the adapter flange 5 enters the adapter bit 8 and the shoulder 6 comes into abutment against this tip. The transparency of the constituent material of the tubular sleeve 1 makes it possible to constantly monitor the clogging state of the filter element 4 in order to allow it to be cleaned if necessary. For this purpose, it is then necessary to disassemble the device. According to FIGS. 2, 3 and 4, this disassembly is carried out as follows: According to FIG. 4, the first step of this disassembly consists in sliding the tubular sleeve 3 upwards along the arrow B1 along the tube of downstream of the gutter 1 in order to disengage the adapter bit 8. According to FIG. 3, the second step of this process consists in releasing, according to the arrow B2, the adapter bit 8 of the gutter down tube 1. According to FIG. the third step of this process is to remove the tubular sleeve 3 according to the arrow B3 to allow emptying and cleaning the filter element 4. 35
