modèle de sanitaire écologique dit toilettes sèches conçu pour les sites en plein-air, à petites et moyennes fréquentations. Cette conception permet de remplacer l'eau par une matière granuleuse absorbante, telle que la sciure où matière végétale ayant des propriétés similaires qui permet de maîtriser les odeurs et favoriser le processus de compostage. Avantageusement ce modèle est équipé d'un lave-mains alimenté par un tonneau de pluie qui récupère les eaux en provenance du toît, et d'un urinoir sans eau. Le principe de ce sanitaire repose sur la séparation des urines, sans qu'elles ne soient en contact avec les matières fécales, qui sont évacuées en épandage. Les matières fécales, sciure, papiers et serviettes sont récupérées dans un sac compostable (amidon de maïs ou papier) et mis à composter dans une aire de compostage, par exemple un volume de 1m3 hermétique aux insectes volants, placé à proximité du sanitaire. Ce sanitaire présente l'avantage de ne nécessiter d'aucun travaux de terrassement, à l'exception d'une tranchée suffisamment longue pour permettre un épandage sur le sol ; une longueur de 4m est suffisante. Ce sanitaire est une cabane en bois comportant 2 modules; Le premier module est un volume de forme carrée, monté sur piloti, avec un toît à un pan incliné de l'avant vers l'arrière. Ce toît (11) est équipé d'une couverture en acier galvanisé qui intègre une gouttière munie d'un filtre (12), d'une évacuation (14) et d'un perçage (13) permettant de laisser passer le tube de ventilation (5) . Une marche est placée devant la porte d'accès, la hauteur du plancher étant à environ 20cm du sol. En face, derrière l'ouverture, est disposé sur la paroie du fond (Fig.3) un lave-mains (1) placé à gauche. Ce lave-mains est de forme carré en acier galvanisé et muni d'un robinet. Sous l'évier, un tube de raccordement (2), par exemple en PVC, relie l'évacuation du lave-mains au séparateur d'urine (3) placé à l'avant et sous la lunette de la latrine (4). Avantageusement, ce tube de raccordement rejoint la partie supérieure du séparateur d'urine, tube perçé en cet endroit d'une dizaine de petits trous et permet le rinçage de celui-ci. La latrine (4), placée au centre est de forme cubique en bois. Elle est équipée d'une lunette et d'un couvercle ainsi qu'un tube en acier, vertical (5), installé derrière la lunette, rejoignant et traversant le toît. Ce tube à pour fonction de ventiler l'intérieur de la latrine, tel une cheminée. A droite de cette latrine est disposé le bac à sciure (6). Avantageusement, celui-ci est constitué d'une planche reliant la latrine à la paroie droite de la cabane, offrant ainsi un volume conséquent (env.2001)pour la sciure. La paroie droite de la latrine qui se trouve donc dans le volume du bac à sciure, est percé d'une ouverture sur laquelle est fixé un volume triangulaire (7) en acier de 55 60 65 70 75 80 2 2906993 20cm de côté ouvert sur le dessus, avec un pan incliné qui se dirige vers l'intérieur de la latrine. Ce volume ayant pour fonction de chasse à sciure permet à l'utilisateur, après avoir fais ses besoins, d'y déverser à l'aide d'une louche de la sciure présente dans le bac à sciure et recouvrira ainsi la matière fécale. A l'intérieur de la latrine, un volume triangulaire(3), de préference en acier inoxydable, est placé à l'avant et sous la lunette. Ce volume, le séparateur d'urine (3)occupe sensiblement 1/3 de l'espace contenu entre la lunette et permet de récupérer environ 98% des urines qui sont évacuées en épandage. Ce séparateur est muni d'un grillage (8) fortement incliné vers l'intérieur de la latrine et qui à pour fonction de faire tomber le papier jeté vers l'avant dans le fond du sac, et d'une évacuation (9) que l'on raccorde à un tube PVC qui se dirige vers l'épandage. Ce séparateur est rincé à chaque utilisation du lave-mains grâce à l'évacuation de celui-ci (2) qui se déverse directement dans le séparateur. Les matières fécales, papiers, serviettes, sciure sont récupérés dans un bac à roulettes (10), situé sous la latrine et muni d'un sac compostable. Ce bac est accessible par l'arrière du module, en extérieur, grâce à un volet coulissant. Le deuxième module, accolé au premier et derrière celui-ci, comporte une porte d'accès et n'est pas recouvert par la toiture.
