Abstract
Description
-1- Combiné cale huître modulable. La présente invention concerne le-1- Combined oyster wedge. The present invention relates to
Il pourra être utilisé pour tous les coquillages bivalves. the concept of a modular oyster shim combined to wedge seashells of all shapes and sizes so that they can be opened easily and without the risk of injury since they are so wedged, there will be no need to hold the shell or to lay a hand on it. 5- This handset is composed of a base (1) Fig.l, dug a curvature (1a), which will receive the oyster well and equipped with a stop (2), to block the together on the edge of a table. This base is surmounted by a shield (3), hollowed out of the same curvature (3a) and connected to the base (1), by any means allowing it to lift or fall back in the 10-direction of the arrows (7). ) and (7a) fig. 2, side view, and also to swing in the direction of the arrows (8) and (8a). Here these functions are obtained by two fasteners or rods (4) and (4a), placed on both sides of the handset and articulating on the axes (5) and (5a), which can be constituted inter alia by nails or screws. Thus when one introduces the oyster (6), Fig.3, also seen in profile, to wedge it before opening it, the shield (3), lifts or folds in the direction of the arrows ( 7) and (7a) fig. 2, and also in the direction of the arrows (8) and (8a), to adapt to the thickness of the shell and its shape. These rods may be straight or curved as shown fig.l. This will have the advantage of clearing the opening of the handset, but also to automatically open the shield when the handset is placed 20 - on the table by a push on the part 4ter. of the link. Moreover, when the upper valve of the oyster lifts in the direction of the arrow (8), under pressure the blade of the knife (9), Fig. 3, the shield (3), will accompany the movement of the valve in the direction of the arrow (8), to not hinder its opening. Thus, the oyster will be well wedged without the opening of the upper valve is - embarrassed in any way, allowing it to be opened easily and without the need to hold or put the hand above, preventing any risk of injury even if the knife blade (9) inadvertently skips. It may be designed in any material and in particular, wood, metal and plastics. It can be used for all bivalve shells.
