Abstract

The method involves acquiring a value representing a volume of drink e.g. tea, to be reheated, such as value representing a cup, and starting up of a generator of a microwave oven. A product humidity is measured by the food during the reheating, using a humidity sensor, where the sensor is placed in an upper part of the oven. The product humidity is compared with a threshold value of a predetermined humidity depending on the value representing the volume of drink. The generator of the oven is stopped when the product humidity is equal to the threshold value of the predetermined humidity. An independent claim is also included for a microwave oven comprising a humidity sensor.
