Abstract
The switch has a thermal connecting element (10) between two interfaces (1, 2), where the element is made resilient and has sufficient thermal conductivity to present a weak thermal gradient between the interfaces. An actuator (20) e.g. piezoelectric element, is activated so as to apply a force on the element to obtain mechanical rupture of the element. A return unit e.g. outer spring, is provided for exerting a return force on the interface (1) to preserve a significant gap between remaining pieces of the element and to maintain the opening of the switch after the rupturing of the element.
