Abstract

The wiper has a main oscillating arm (3) carrying a support (7) for a windscreen wiper blade (8), where the blade has a flexible terminal lip (11) in support against a windscreen wiper glass (1). The arm is freely rotated around an axle (4) fixed with respect to a passenger compartment of a motor vehicle. The support is slidably mounted in an inner slide arranged on the arm. A secondary arm (13) has an end (12) integrated to the main arm and another end (14) pivotably mounted around a driving axis (16) of the arm (13) controlled in alternated rotation by a reversible induction motor (17).

A cet effet, l'essuie glace considéré, comportant un bras oscillant principal portant un support pour une raclette comprenant une lèvre souple de balayage en appui contre la surface vitrée du pare brise ou de la lunette arrière, ce bras principal étant librement articulé en rotation autour d'un premier axe fixe par rapport à l'habitacle du véhicule, se caractérise en ce que le support de la raclette de balayage est monté à coulissement dans une glissière ménagée sur le bras principal, s'étendant selon la direction longitudinale de ce bras, le support de la raclette étant solidaire d'une extrémité d'un bras secondaire dont l'autre extrémité est montée pivotante autour d'un second axe d'entraînement de ce bras secondaire, commandé en rotation alternée par un moteur réversible. Grâce à ces dispositions, la rotation alternative du bras secondaire autour du second axe sous l'effet du moteur d'entraînement, provoquant le déplacement de l'extrémité de ce bras solidaire du support de la raclette de balayage selon un arc de cercle de rayon constant, provoque simultanément le pivotement du bras principal autour du premier axe et, consécutivement, le déplacement par coulissement du support de la raclette de balayage dans la glissière de ce support ménagée sur le bras principal, produisant un mouvement relatif de ce support vis-à-vis de ce bras et, au total, un accroissement de la surface balayée par la raclette.
