Description

-I- 1 ) L'invention consiste à combiner sur une guitare acoustique ou-I- 1) The invention consists in combining on an acoustic guitar or

On a vu des guitares avec huit cordes (Patent US N 4,483,233) ou dix cordes (Patent US N 6,660,918 B1 ; US N 4,377,101), principalement électriques. On an acoustic guitar we can add a percussion system. 2) Certainly the bass and guitar combination has already been developed. We have seen guitars with eight strings (Patent US N 4,483,233) or ten strings (Patent US N 6,660,918 B1; US N 4,377,101), mainly electric. Also certain inventions comprise a longitudinal support carrying low cords with means of fixing type gallows at the ends, held with a jack (patent FR 78 02227). But these instruments are relatively difficult to play because of the width of the neck, or their weight; moreover they require a good technique before controlling them. 3) The object of my invention solves these technical problems. The diagrams in Figure 1 and the details that are appended allow a better understanding. It consists of a guitar to cover a wide spectrum of sound with a minimum of strings while increasing the register of low notes, comprising: a wooden body, a guitar neck, a head and strings six in number. The instrument is characterized by a handle in two parts: a part with frets and a part without fret (3). The guitar has six strings: five guitar-type strings and one bass-type string (4). The cutting of the frets at the level of the bass rope (4) avoids too much up all the 20 strings. This is an extra comfort for the guitar game. The bass chord replaces the string MI (E) bass; it is LA (A) 085 "(085 inches) maximum The other five strings of the guitar are standard classical strings, LA (A) RE (D) SOL (G) SI (B) MI (E) This system fits for example a jumbo-type guitar, or twelve-string 25-string thick-necked case, and a standard full-neck guitar with screw-in handle. The amplification is provided by two microphones (5): a piezo type for the strings, and a condenser type for the percussions. These microphones are connected to a preamplifier (9) with a balance for their balancing A 6.35 mm jack (8) is used to link this system to the sound system -2- The replacement of the bass MI (E) cord by the bass cord LA (A) ) (4) requires a violin work at the bridge, frets, sills and the head of the guitar. The bridge: it is necessary to widen the hole in the cheva let and strengthen it with a thicker peg (7). The bridge saddle: Extend or replace the bridge saddle (6) to allow the passage of the low rope (4). The handle: a partial removal of the frets ("partial défrettage") is to be made on the handle at the level of the old rope MI (E) serious. The bass is played without frets Io called "fretless" game. (3). The nut: it is resized or replaced by a nut (2) adapted to let the thickness of the bass rope (4). The guitar head: It is necessary to replace the existing mechanics by a classic bass mechanics with an oil bath (1). 4) The present invention has the advantage over the previous ones, to be fun, not to require a long learning, and not to weigh down the guitar. Indeed, any musician can immediately apply existing guitar techniques: "Open tunning", minor chords in major, inverted, slipped, etc ... 20 The third advantage is the incorporation of two microphones (5), Piezo and capacitor types for amplification (9) and percussion. A simple high pass filter located at the preamplifier can mitigate the unwanted effects on the bass rope (4) until removed.

5) The advantage of this type of editing is that it allows a variety of tunings. The tension of the bass chord (4) can be adjusted to have several sounds mainly Mi or Sol. It can be mounted two or three tones above the normal chord without deterioration of the instrument (RE chord). I5 -3- The main advantage is its simplicity, flexibility, size and acoustic possibilities. We can play as well sitting as standing. 6) Types of tunings It is possible to tune the guitar in several ways.

Par exemple on pourra reprendre des techniques de jeux utilisées sur un djembé.5 One can play for example: AADGBE Or DADGBE ("drop") Or EADGBE Or GGDGBD ("open tunnmg") to Or FADGBE Or CADGBE The tension to be applied on the string The (A) allows to go over its tone intrinsic. 15 7) Percussion A percussion game can be applied to all parts of the guitar. The condenser microphone (5) and amplifier (9) add versatility to the instrument, and an additional amenity to the musician's game. For example we can use game techniques used on a djembe.
